"If it's truly urgent, you can go ahead and answer the call," Tryson suggested to Angel, noticing her hesitation as she looked at him.
Just as she was lost in her thoughts, the phone rang once more. At this point, Tryson began to grow suspicious of the call, observing Angel's increasing reluctance.
"I'll go ahead and take the call," Angel remarked, realizing that Arthur would only persist in calling for a longer period if she didn't pick up.
Internally, she found herself nibbling on her lips, a mix of guilt and awkwardness washing over her as she concealed the fact that Arthur was on the line.
For goodness' sake—this was such a prime opportunity for her to handle the situation with Tryson.
Yet, she felt it would be best to have a conversation with Arthur without letting Tryson become aware of it.
