64: On the way - Part 2

The faint hum of magical energy radiated from the fissure in the alley's wall, casting an otherworldly glow that pulsed in irregular intervals. Lady Selene and Prince Aedric stood before it, their expressions grim as they finally sensed the faint trace of Elias's magic emanating from the strange anomaly.

"That's him," Selene said, her voice steady but laced with urgency. "He's in there."

Aedric nodded, gripping the hilt of his sword. "But how do we get in without tearing half the city apart? This thing doesn't look stable."

One of the guards stepped forward cautiously. "Your Highnesses, perhaps we should call for the court mages. They might have a way to open this fissure without causing any unnecessary damage."

Selene shook her head sharply. "We don't have time. If Elias is inside, there's no telling what condition he's in or how long he'll last. Evacuate the area immediately. I'll handle this."
