Part 1: C2: Yaxoc & Luna VS Awakened Zarzock

Luna dashed across the battlefield, her claws tearing through demons with precision. Her focus was unwavering—until she reached Yaxoc.

Yaxoc glanced at her, sensing the urgency in her movements. "What's up? You look desperate."

Luna met his gaze, her expression serious. "Zarzock is back..."

Yaxoc's eyes widened. "What? He came back?"

Before Luna could respond, a voice cut in.

"Didn't I get rid of that idiot earlier?"

Yaxocara appeared beside Yaxoc, arms crossed, eyes filled with irritation.

Yaxoc nodded. "Yeah, but thanks to his Demonic Essence, he used its energy to revive himself—stronger than before. That means his attacks are now even deadlier to non-angelic users. He's not using his normal energy anymore."

Yaxocara rolled her eyes. "So what? We'll still kick his ass. No big deal."

Yaxoc, however, remained tense. "Zarzock is going after Luna first. And..." He hesitated before continuing. "He's looking for Moonlight too."

Yaxocara's casual demeanor shifted slightly. "And teaming up against him is a bad idea because...?"

Yaxoc pointed toward two figures in the distance, just as they vanished. "Because he's not alone."

Yaxocara narrowed her eyes. "They looked... familiar."

Before they could dwell on it, Marcus descended onto the battlefield. "You're right," he said. "They're just like those figures we handled before..."

A deafening crack split the air.

Zarzock slammed his fist into the ground, shattering the continent in half. The force sent Yaxoc and Luna leaping away, while Yaxocara and Marcus merely took a step back, unfazed.

Molten lava erupted from the fissures, painting the battlefield in a hellish glow.

Yaxoc clenched his fists. "We need to split up! Marcus, Yaxocara—you two track down those figures. Luna and I will handle Zarzock."

The two nodded and disappeared into the chaos. Meanwhile, Luna and Yaxoc turned to face Zarzock, now standing atop the ruins of a shattered rooftop. The sky above had turned crimson, the sun dripping like blood.

Zarzock smirked. "Shall I decide your fate?" His voice was mocking. "It's not like your little angelic tricks can harm me. Not anymore. Especially with the new demons Ogamak is sending your way."

Yaxoc's fists glowed brighter. "What are you talking about?"

Zarzock chuckled. "You'll find out soon enough. But if you must know... they're called Type 5 Demons."

Luna and Yaxoc's eyes widened.

"Type 5 Demons...?" Yaxoc muttered.

Zarzock grinned. "Worried already?" He lunged.

Yaxoc moved to intercept him, but Zarzock caught his wrist mid-strike.

"You're lucky I'm in a good mood today," Zarzock mused. "After all, I should thank that girl for killing me before." He tightened his grip. "Type 5 Demons are the final evolution of demonic beings. Their power eclipses that of nearly every angel in existence—except Seraphim and Archangels. At the very least, they can destroy universes. At most? A multiverse."

Before Yaxoc could react, Zarzock drove his fist into his gut. The impact sent Yaxoc crashing through multiple buildings.

Zarzock then turned his attention to Luna. "Now, where were we?"

Luna dodged his initial strike, countering with a sharp kick to his face—only for Zarzock to remain unscathed.

"You've got nice reflexes, cat," he sneered. "But you need more power."

He swung a deadly kick, but Luna flipped over him, grabbing his head mid-air and slamming him into the ground, leaving a crater.

Yaxoc ran back into the fray, sighing. "Thank the gods I got here in time."

Zarzock chuckled. "Wouldn't be very godlike if I killed you."

Yaxoc raised an eyebrow. "Is that even a word? Are you just making up stuff now?"

"My vocabulary has nothing to do with murder," Zarzock retorted before lunging at Yaxoc, unleashing a flurry of attacks.

Yaxoc weaved through the blows, countering with a powerful manji kick, dazing Zarzock. Seizing the moment, Yaxoc delivered a devastating Angelic Flash to his gut, sending him rocketing into the sky.

"Luna!" Yaxoc called out.

"On it!" Luna's claws flared with energy.

She launched into the air, slashing at Zarzock in a relentless barrage. Each strike carved deep wounds into his body before she finished with a final, devastating slash—severing his left arm.

Zarzock's eyes widened. "Damn it..." he muttered. His mind raced. Her claws... it's like she activated some kind of passive magic before the fight. She wasn't this strong before...

Then, he grinned. His energy surged, and his severed arm regenerated instantly.

"I underestimated you, hybrid," Zarzock admitted. "You're above the A-ranked saviors."

Raising his hand, he shaped his energy into a menacing blade. "But let's see how you handle this."

Luna's claws glowed brighter. She smirked. "Bring it on!"

Yaxoc glanced at the sky, uneasy. "Be careful. This guy's got tricks up his sleeve."

Luna ignored the warning, charging straight at Zarzock.

He countered with a blinding sand attack, but before it could reach her, a hidden magical orb absorbed it.

Zarzock's smirk faltered. "Clever. You summoned an orb ahead of time?"

Luna didn't respond. Instead, she dodged his next attack, kicked him in the face, and wrapped her tail around his neck, slamming him into the ground.

Zarzock wiped blood from his lip, smirking. "Not bad. You've got talent."

"Are you fighting or just evaluating me?" Luna taunted. "Because evaluations won't save you."

Her claws burned with celestial energy.

"Star Magic: Supernova Slash!"

Luna's claws became pure light as she unleashed two devastating slashes across Zarzock's chest, cutting through his defenses. His body trembled. If she lands one more, I'm dead...!

Desperate, he formed a demonic shield just in time to block her finishing blow.

Luna's eyes narrowed. "You blocked it… but your body isn't regenerating." She smirked. "Which means I nullified your demonic healing."

Yaxoc teleported behind Zarzock, delivering a powerful kick to his back, sending him crashing through several buildings.

As the dust settled, Yaxoc turned to Luna. "Wait… if you nullified his regeneration, does that mean angelic healing won't work either?"

Luna nodded. "Exactly. Supernova Slashes are mythical spells—the pinnacle of my magic. Even if I don't cut someone, the energy alone suppresses their natural healing."

Yaxoc smirked. "That's a strong ability. But does it match my Awakened Imagination?"

Luna chuckled. "Your ability functions differently. It regenerates things rapidly… but yeah, I think I could nullify it too."

Before they could say more, a pulse of dark energy surged from the wreckage.

Zarzock was rising again. His aura burned fiercer than ever.

Something was awakening.
