Yaxoc walked through the destroyed battlefield, his injuries slowly regenerating.
He looked at the fragments before confronting them.
Liski turned to him and asked, "Who are you, cream boy?"
Yaxoc looked confused at the nickname.
Fate sighed upon seeing his reaction.
"This is why you don't get invited to holidays. Move." Fate pushed Liski aside.
Liski glared at him before walking away.
"My name is Fate. What's yours?" Fate asked.
"My name is Yaxoc," Yaxoc replied.
"I see. You're that savior everyone has been talking about—the one capable of defeating Lucius?" Fate said.
"Yeah. How'd you know?" Yaxoc asked.
"Oh well, rumors like that get pretty popular as usual." Fate turned to look at the sky.
"The sky keeps getting worse somehow. It's turning darker," Fate observed.
"It's like he's trying to remove the atmosphere or something," Ethereal added.
"Well, aren't you guys just great observers? It's obvious, you icy weirdo," Liski said bluntly.
"At least I wasn't first created in Gacha Life," Ethereal shot back.
"And how'd you know that?! You didn't even watch those back in your time!" Liski shouted.
"Stop arguing! Look at Xavy!" Jim shouted, pointing toward the battle.
"Did he just take down Lucius?" Atlan asked in disbelief.
"No, he did not take down Lucius. I have a feeling it's not over yet," Fate said.
A huge explosion erupted in the sky.
Xavy crashed into the ground but stood up.
"Xavy? What's going on?" Atlan asked.
Xavy looked up at Lucius and replied, "It seems Lucius has used his true power."
Lucius descended to the ground, glancing at Yaxoc.
"Ah, so you're alive after all," Lucius mocked.
Yaxoc quickly got into a fighting stance, but Atlan stepped in front of him.
"Don't worry, dude. We can handle this. You should use your magic to restore the atmosphere," Atlan said.
Yaxoc looked up and saw the sky darkening.
"Right..." Yaxoc muttered.
He walked forward and chanted, "Dream Magic: Sweet Restoration."
The atmosphere slowly returned to its original color.
Lucius smirked. "Ah, so you're protecting him from me? Child, you can't save everyone."
"Oh, I'm aware of that, but I'm saving someone who will be important later," Atlan replied.
Lucius pulled out a gem.
"I assume this is the gem that allows you to hit demonic essence users, even if they are powerless?" Lucius said.
Yaxoc's eyes widened. "Isn't that the gem created by Heraphiel?!"
Lucius kept smirking before crushing the gem.
"Too bad. I also took care of him as well," Lucius said as he held out a pair of wings.
"Alongside your poor friend, Haven Hight," he added.
Yaxoc clenched his fists, his hands glowing brightly.
"Yes... yes... let your anger blind you so I can finish you," Lucius taunted.
"Knowing you'll be just like those idiots," he added.
Atlan stepped in. "Take a break, my dude. I know it's hard to calm down, but this isn't the best time to fight. His condition is unstable. Get out of here while we handle this."
"It won't be that easy," Fate interjected.
"What do you mean?" Atlan asked.
"This guy's keeping an eye on him. He won't stop until he gets what he wants. We have to leave this to Xavy," Fate explained.
Xavy stepped forward, stopping right next to Fate.
"We have no choice but to use the fusion. Otherwise, I'll fight him again with another strategy," Xavy said.
"The fusion? Are you sure?" Atlan asked.
"Yeah, Xavy, that's not a good idea. He might have a plan to disrupt our fusion," Fate warned, looking at Xavy with concern, along with the other fragments.
"I know it may be risky, but Lucius is giving us no choice," Xavy said.
Suddenly, a water bottle was randomly thrown, and Xavy caught it.
"A water bottle? What's that gonna do?" Liski asked.
"You know how he thought this water bottle would at least give him a temporary boost when he plays any type of sport? Well, I have an idea," Xavy said.
Xavy then drank the water, boosting his power.
"Round 3, Lucius," Xavy declared.
Lucius summoned all the Type 5 demons onto the battlefield.
"Not so fast, my friend," Lucius said coldly.
"Those demons are everywhere?!" Liski shouted, getting into a fighting stance.
Atlan and Fate stood on guard.
Jim, Lan, and Ethereal prepared themselves.
Lucius turned away and began walking.
"Attack them with everything you've got, and capture Yaxoc alive for me," Lucius ordered.
"Hey! Don't run away from me!" Yaxoc yelled, charging forward, but Xavy stopped him.
"Not so fast, Yaxoc. We'll take down those demons first. I know his plan," Xavy said.
GDM looked at Xavy. "Should we start?"
Xavy nodded. "Go ahead."
The Type 5 demons charged.
Fate fought through them, jumping back.
"Your energy is useless," Fate said, forming a deadly slash that cut them in half.
Lan fought his way through. Jim charged forward.
Ethereal summoned massive glaciers, wiping out many demons.
Liski finished them off with her energy blade.
Atlan used his poisonous spikes to eliminate each one, finishing the last with a powerful blow.
Yaxoc unleashed his angelic essence, taking out the last demon with Angelic Flash.
GDM ran across the battlefield but was suddenly knocked into a wall by Lucius.
Xavy saw this and shouted, "Run away!"
The fragments nodded and fled.
Yaxoc looked confused but was also dragged away by Xavy.
Greendie teleported next to GDM.
"GDM! Are you alright?" Greendie asked, concerned.
GDM barely stood up. "No, I'm not."
"I'll help you," Greendie said before calling out.
"Hardtyle, Exotec, and Virus!Fragmentism!"
Three side memory fragments emerged.
"Well, looks like we got ourselves a boss," Hardtyle said.
Exotec and Virus!Fragmentism stared at Lucius silently.
"New toys for me to play with? Bring it on, suckers," Lucius taunted, lunging at the fragments.
Virus!Fragmentism summoned multiple bones alongside Exotec.
The bones were launched at Lucius at infinite speed.
Lucius ran through the destruction, dodging each one before firing slashes.
Exotec was hit but remained unharmed.
He then shot twenty bones, the last one striking Lucius's face.
Exotec teleported in front of him, using telekinesis to slam him into multiple buildings before throwing him into the sky.
Virus!Fragmentism teleported above him, gripping his neck tightly with corrupted hands.
The corruption glitched as Lucius screamed in pain.
"You're nothing but a pawn to us," Virus!Fragmentism said.
"Is that so?" Lucius smirked and kicked Virus!Fragmentism away.
Virus!Fragmentism remained unfazed.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" Virus!Fragmentism said bluntly.
Lucius smirked, his hands glowing in rainbow colors.
"Want to see a magic trick?" Lucius asked, waving his hand.
Exotec's eyes widened. "VIRUS! GET OUT OF THE WAY! HE'S GOING TO SHIFT REALITY!"
Virus!Fragmentism vanished.
Lucius laughed. "Too late. He didn't escape before I ERASED him from reality."
Greendie, Hardtyle, and Exotec looked shocked.
"And that was our strongest one, by the way," Hardtyle muttered.
"This is very bad!" Greendie exclaimed.
Lucius pointed at them.
"Pew," Lucius whispered, erasing Greendie
and Hardtyle from reality, leaving only Exotec.
"It's just you and me now," Lucius said, preparing another attack—until a massive explosion interrupted him.
Xavy descended, his true power now revealed.
