"This is our ultimate battle, our confrontation," said Lucius.

Yaxoc's fists clenched as his angelic aura grew even larger.

"Our fate will decide which one of us is the winner. And we may already know the answer," Lucius continued.

"Don't be arrogant... I'm going to finish you here and now," Yaxoc retorted.

Lucius pointed his finger around the battlefield.

"Don't you see? The world is destroyed. Everything you love is dead," Lucius said.

"There's no point in fighting. Join me, and we'll rebuild the world together," he added, extending his hand.

"Like hell I will... You should've fixed this world a long time ago," Yaxoc replied.

Lucius chuckled. "Well then, what's the point of killing me? Everything around you is already in ruins. Your immortality won't save you from me. But my immortality... that will always be a threat to you."

"I promise I'll restore the world myself and let the souls you've murdered rest in peace," Yaxoc declared.

Lucius smirked and summoned a massive red scythe.

"Well then, let's see if you can keep that promise," he said.

Yaxoc and Lucius lunged at each other, exchanging powerful blows.

Lucius swung his scythe at Yaxoc's shoulder, but Yaxoc caught the blade with his bare hand, creating a massive shockwave.

Lucius jumped back and unleashed a barrage of energy slashes.

Yaxoc sprinted through the oncoming attacks, dodging each one. He dashed forward, landing a punch to Lucius's face, followed by a spinning hook kick.

Lucius flinched at the impact, and Yaxoc capitalized, delivering an Angelic Flash to his gut, sending him crashing through multiple dead trees.

Yaxoc teleported above him and chanted,

"Dream Magic: Shurikens of Negativity!"

A flurry of shurikens rained down toward Lucius.

Lucius spun his scythe, blocking each projectile before deflecting the last three back at Yaxoc.

Yaxoc caught the shurikens and threw one in a different direction before disappearing.

"I've seen this technique before..." Lucius mumbled.

The last shuriken switched positions with Yaxoc, who appeared in front of Lucius, ready to deliver a powerful kick. But Lucius caught his leg and slammed him into the ground.

Yaxoc retaliated with a kick to Lucius's face and quickly got back on his feet, launching into a rapid kicking combo, finishing with a devastating blow.

He then rushed toward Lucius to continue his assault.

Lucius blocked each strike with his scythe and retaliated with a massive slash.

Yaxoc leaped over the attack and sprinted toward Lucius again, throwing another barrage of punches. But once again, Lucius blocked them with his scythe and raised his hand, summoning a hail of meteors from the sky.

Yaxoc's eyes narrowed. He jumped into the air, destroying each meteor before Lucius could react.

Teleporting in front of him, Yaxoc landed another Angelic Flash, sending Lucius skidding across the battlefield until he crashed into a tree.

Yaxoc followed up, attempting a powerful kick, but Lucius quickly rolled away and fired another wave of slashes.

The slashes struck Yaxoc, and Lucius unleashed even more, trying to finish him off.

But Yaxoc adapted. He intercepted the final slash with a powerful punch, shocking Lucius.

"How...?" Lucius thought. "I just landed over 130,900 deadly slashes in a single second, and he's still standing?"

Yaxoc dashed forward, delivering two simultaneous kicks before smashing his elbow into Lucius's face.

Lucius stumbled forward, dazed.

Yaxoc then executed a devastating dropkick, sending him flying.

Teleporting behind him, Yaxoc struck him upward into the sky with a powerful punch.

Jumping after him, Yaxoc raised his fist high.

"You're going where you belong!" Yaxoc roared, driving his fist into Lucius's face with immense force.

For a brief moment, a spectral image of Marcus appeared behind Yaxoc, mirroring his pose.

Lucius crashed into the ground, coughing violently.

As he struggled to stand, a flicker of disbelief crossed his face.

"Did I just see that kid? No... I must be imagining things," Lucius muttered.

Yaxoc descended, his angelic aura still glowing, his fists now shining with a radiant rainbow light.

"The power of HOPE is really something, huh?" Lucius said with a smirk.

"So, you can increase your strength through the will of your dead friends..." he mused.

"Shut up!" Yaxoc shouted as he lunged toward Lucius.

Lucius clashed with Yaxoc, and they began barraging each other with relentless attacks.

Lucius slashed Yaxoc multiple times, but Yaxoc endured the pain and continued fighting.

The barrage ended with a powerful clash. Yaxoc punched Lucius in the face, landed a strong kick to his gut, then grabbed him by the neck and hurled him across the mountains. Teleporting in front of him, Yaxoc delivered another kick to Lucius's face.

Yaxoc then chanted,

"Dream Magic: Restricted Reality!"

His body emitted an eerie glow as an illusionary clone of himself materialized, attempting to catch Lucius off guard.

Lucius watched as the clone and Yaxoc began circling him.

"Oh, Yaxoc, are you trying to make this easy for me? I can tell you're still hesitating to use your full power," Lucius said mockingly.

The clone lunged toward Lucius. As Lucius raised his guard, Yaxoc suddenly appeared behind him and struck his back with an Angelic Flash, sending him flying. Yaxoc then switched positions with the clone and launched a kick to Lucius's jaw, sending him soaring into the sky.

The clone vanished as Yaxoc jumped after him, his fists glowing dark purple.

"This is for those you have murdered!" Yaxoc shouted as he drove his fist into Lucius's gut with immense force. A spectral image of Moonlight appeared behind Yaxoc, mirroring his pose.

Lucius plummeted, crashing violently into the ground multiple times.

Yaxoc teleported beside him, his fists now transformed into sharp claws infused with Moonlight's soul. He slashed at Lucius multiple times before finishing with a deep stab into his torso.

Lucius gritted his teeth, pushed Yaxoc away, and grabbed his face, slamming him into a nearby wall.

Panting, Lucius said, "You're quite determined to end this once and for all. You're the kind of person who would keep a promise, even in the worst circumstances."

He slammed Yaxoc into the ground and grabbed him by the neck.

"But I'm afraid your time to fight is over, kid," Lucius sneered. "You'll be joining your family soon. Sounds like the perfect time for a family reunion, don't you think?"

A smirk crept across his face.

Yaxoc glared at him, then let out a furious scream, forcing Lucius back.

He dashed forward, unleashing a rapid barrage of punches before finishing with a powerful push that sent Lucius flying.

Teleporting behind him, Yaxoc landed a kick to Lucius's back, followed by a punch that sent him spiraling away.

Yaxoc teleported in front of him and attempted a strong uppercut, but Lucius intercepted it, countering with a punch to Yaxoc's face before shoving him into a wall.

Lucius lunged forward and delivered a devastating kick to Yaxoc's gut, then kicked him away again.

Yaxoc was sent flying, struggling to regain control. But before he could react, Lucius unleashed a barrage of energy slashes, each one cutting deep.

Yaxoc crashed into another wall, just as Lucius moved in for a finishing blow.

At the last second, Yaxoc dodged, causing Lucius's punch to obliterate the wall completely.

Seizing the moment, Yaxoc delivered a brutal kick to Lucius's jaw, sending him flying.

Teleporting behind him, Yaxoc struck with another Angelic Flash, launching Lucius through multiple mountains.

Lucius, enraged, destroyed the remains of the mountains and lunged at Yaxoc, landing a powerful punch to his face.

Yaxoc was sent soaring into the sky.

Lucius teleported above him and delivered a sledgehammer strike to his torso, slamming Yaxoc into the ground with immense force.

Yaxoc quickly recovered, leaping into the sky and tackling Lucius into space.

As they ascended, they exchanged furious blows.

Yaxoc landed a punch to Lucius's face, but Lucius composed himself and retaliated with a kick to Yaxoc's head.

Undeterred, Yaxoc tackled Lucius and sent him hurtling back toward Earth.

Lucius crashed into the planet, triggering a colossal explosion that wiped out the entire surface.

In an instant, Lucius teleported in front of Yaxoc and chanted,

"Universal Travel: Blows Above Us."

He then drove his fist into Yaxoc's gut, sending him spiraling through time and space, distorting reality itself.

Yaxoc crashed into a strange, warped world, his vision swirling in confusion.

He looked around, stunned by the distorted surroundings.

Before he could react, Lucius teleported in front of him and delivered another gut punch, followed by two low sweeps and a spinning kick that sent Yaxoc tumbling backward.

Lucius lunged again, striking Yaxoc's face before slashing at his torso with a single finger.

But Yaxoc blocked the attack with sheer presence, countering with a crushing punch to Lucius's face.

Teleporting behind him, Yaxoc unleashed a powerful blow, leaving Lucius momentarily dazed.

Lucius composed himself and jumped back before firing another barrage of lasers.

Yaxoc dodged each one with swift movements and lunged toward him, aiming a punch at his face. However, Lucius blocked the attack with his arms and swiftly countered, slicing Yaxoc's chest with his scythe. The force of the attack made Yaxoc leap back, clutching the wound.

Lucius smirked. "Aw... That's too bad."

Yaxoc kept his glare fixed on Lucius as his wound began regenerating.

Lucius chuckled. "That glare isn't going to get you anywhere."

In an instant, Lucius teleported in front of him and launched a kick, but Yaxoc flipped over him, delivering a sharp kick to his jaw followed by a punch to his face.

Yaxoc lunged forward and delivered a devastating blow, sending Lucius flying.

Teleporting behind him, Yaxoc kicked Lucius's back, launching him into the sky. He then jumped after him, slamming Lucius down to the ground with immense force.

Without hesitation, Yaxoc teleported in front of him, grabbed his leg, and hurled him into the mountains.

Reappearing next to him, Yaxoc seized Lucius by the neck and slammed him into the ground.

Teleporting again, Yaxoc attempted to land a powerful finishing blow, but Lucius caught his fist, countering with a brutal kick to Yaxoc's face, forcing him to step back.

Lucius then lunged forward and slashed his sharp claws across Yaxoc's chest, piercing a hole straight through him.

Yaxoc coughed up blood, groaning in agony.

Lucius kicked him away effortlessly.

"So weak, yet so pathetic. You can't even use your full power," Lucius scoffed as he slowly walked toward him.

He raised his fist, dripping with blood.

"This will be my victory—the rise of the new Demon Lord of the Underworld. And now, no one will stand in my way." Lucius smirked as he prepared to strike the final blow.

But just before he could finish Yaxoc off, a blinding light erupted between them.

Yaxoc quickly sprang to his feet and leaped away, his wound regenerating once more.

Lucius wiped his eyes, squinting through the light, only to see Yaxoc standing tall.

"So, you're not giving up that easily... I should've seen that coming," Lucius muttered.

Yaxoc began channeling a massive amount of Angelic Essence, his power surging as he awakened the essence.

His angelic wings expanded, turning golden, while his halo radiated with an even brighter glow.

A powerful aura—the essence of HOPE—enveloped Yaxoc's body, shimmering in a brilliant rainbow light as he locked eyes with Lucius.

Lucius's eyes widened.

"This... this wasn't supposed to happen... The Awakening of Angelic Essence..." he muttered in disbelief.

Before he could react, Yaxoc vanished.

A voice whispered from behind him.

"I'm still keeping my promise, just like you doubted," Yaxoc declared.

His fists glowed with a brilliant light.

"I always keep my promises. Because I believe that HOPE is the force that connects us to those promises. And to keep them—"

Yaxoc's aura exploded outward as he roared—

"YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT THEY WILL BE FULFILLED!"

Lucius scoffed and charged forward, unleashing a flurry of attacks from all sides, but Yaxoc effortlessly dodged each one. In a split second, Yaxoc elbowed Lucius's face and followed up with a powerful punch.

Yaxoc leaped to land another blow, but Lucius caught his fist and shoved him back. Lucius teleported behind him to strike, but Yaxoc executed a perfect backflip, landing a precise kick to Lucius's head.

Lucius crashed into the ground, dazed.

Yaxoc stepped forward, grabbed his head, and slammed him down again.

Lucius's scythe slipped from his grasp, skidding across the ground.

Yaxoc walked toward it, picked it up, and tossed it back to Lucius.

Lucius looked at the scythe, then back at Yaxoc, noticing the unwavering seriousness in his eyes.

"Pick it up," Yaxoc commanded.

"We're not done yet."

Lucius stood up and grabbed the scythe, now watching Yaxoc's movements carefully.

He began running rapidly around Yaxoc, raising his scythe as he prepared to charge.

Yaxoc quickly jumped back, but Lucius dashed forward and slashed his chest, sending him crashing into the wall. Lucius then teleported in front of him and punched him in the gut.

He walked behind Yaxoc and attempted to finish him off with a swing to the head, but Yaxoc countered with a Manji kick and punched Lucius in the face, sending him flying.

Yaxoc lunged forward, kicked Lucius in the face, and landed another Angelic Flash to his gut, launching him further.

Teleporting in front of him, Yaxoc slammed him down to the ground with force.

He descended, his fists glowing brightly.

Lucius stood up, wiped the blood from his face, and looked at Yaxoc with a cold expression.

"Not bad," Lucius said.

"But unlike you, I've awakened my essence as well."

A massive aura erupted around him, destroying the ground beneath.

Yaxoc immediately rushed forward to punch him in the face, but Lucius caught his fist and kicked him hard in the gut, sending him skidding back.

Lucius teleported behind him and slashed his back, forcing Yaxoc to spit blood from the impact.

Lucius smirked, then grabbed Yaxoc by the neck and slammed him into the ground, creating a massive crater.

Yaxoc quickly headbutted him and stood back up. He charged in, landing two powerful blows followed by a double kick, which staggered Lucius.

Without hesitation, Yaxoc shattered Lucius's scythe and slapped him away.

Teleporting above, Yaxoc chanted:

"Dream Magic: Nightmarish Spikes!"

The spikes impaled Lucius's body—but he remained unfazed and ripped them out.

"Saviors these days really believe they can save the world. And you were never one of them," Lucius said as he stood tall.

Yaxoc said nothing, staring at him coldly.

"Do you even know what it takes to become the strongest savior? You wouldn't understand the effort they went through—only to be crushed by a fake accusation," Lucius continued.

He then raised his palm, summoning a soul.

"This is your little brother, huh? I can tell—he has potential. But poor little guy… it's sad that I took advantage of them," Lucius said, watching Yaxoc's reaction.

Yaxoc's fists clenched as his aura grew slightly larger.

"You know… your mother was a nice woman too. I'd have gone after her if only she were single at the time. Then you wouldn't even exist," Lucius said with a smirk.

"What the hell are you trying to imply, Lucius?" Yaxoc growled.

"I traveled through universes while you were off on your little adventures. And I found one where your mother was still alive… and single. So, I decided to take advantage of that and created a clone of myself—to create someone... someone who could conquer this world, even if it takes fifteen years or more," Lucius said calmly.

Yaxoc's eyes widened. "What do you mean by that...?"

"In a few years, this kid will take over the world," Lucius replied.

Furious, Yaxoc punched him across the face.

"You hooked up with my mom from another universe just to create someone capable of dominating this universe?! That's beyond disgusting!" Yaxoc shouted.

Lucius wiped the blood from his mouth and smirked.

"I don't care. This is what I need to begin world domination—with my future son."

Yaxoc attacked him in a flurry of rage, but Lucius blocked each strike and kicked him in the gut. He then grabbed Yaxoc by the head and threw him through multiple buildings.

Lucius teleported next to him and landed a devastating blow, slamming Yaxoc into the ground.

"And then, this kid will be a prodigy—someone who's going to be stronger than both of us. Not even that damn fragment will be able to stop them," said Lucius.

Yaxoc stood up and teleported in front of him, landing a tense blow that sent Lucius crashing into the ground.

Yaxoc teleported beside him and began attacking him repeatedly, using teleportation until he finished with a powerful strike that left Lucius disoriented.

He then landed an Angelic Flash to his gut, launching Lucius into the air.

Yaxoc teleported in front of him and chanted:

"Dream Magic: Purple."

A massive purple orb struck Lucius. Its force was so devastating that the realm began to collapse entirely—the buildings and ground started glitching.

Lucius was sent flying through the glitching realm as Yaxoc attacked relentlessly. But Lucius caught the final strike, kicked Yaxoc in the face, and counterattacked with a flurry of blows.

Yaxoc blocked them all and responded with another Angelic Flash to Lucius's face, stunning him.

Yaxoc chanted again:

"Dream Magic: Reality-Breaking Realm."

He punched Lucius square in the face, instantly destroying the realm and shifting all dimensions.

Lucius was sent back to the original universe, where Yaxoc continued attacking him in a fury.

Lucius caught his fist, punched him away, and then kicked him in the gut, sending Yaxoc flying through space.

He began firing multiple lasers at Yaxoc, but Yaxoc dodged each beam and clashed fists with him, shaking the universe itself.

Lucius tried punching him, but Yaxoc dodged and grabbed his shoulder.

"You're going to regret that, you son of a bitch," said Yaxoc coldly, punching Lucius in the face, grabbing his neck, pulling him close, and instantly kicking him away.

Yaxoc teleported in front of him, unleashing a rapid combo before ending it with a powerful uppercut.

Lucius, disoriented, staggered back, and Yaxoc delivered another Angelic Flash that sent him flying. However, Yaxoc's fist began to bleed from the impact.

Lucius quickly composed himself and noticed the blood.

"I see… Your Angelic Flashes have a cooldown, and you're not following it properly," said Lucius.

His eyes widened as he noticed a crack forming on his stomach.

"That means I only have three left to withstand these flashes… This is bad," Lucius muttered.

Yaxoc lunged forward to punch him, but Lucius intercepted with a spinning kick and struck his gut with his palm.

Lucius teleported behind him and drove his elbow into Yaxoc's back before charging an attack.

"Taste my torture," said Lucius as he unleashed a barrage of slashes and lasers through Yaxoc's body.

He couldn't stop firing, but Yaxoc kept leaning in, closing the distance.

Yaxoc finally grabbed his face and began throwing him into multiple distant stars, crashing him through each one before finishing with another Angelic Flash that staggered Lucius again.

Lucius roared and rushed in, delivering a series of even stronger attacks.

Yaxoc tried to block, but the pressure overwhelmed him, and he was kicked away.

Lucius teleported behind him and chanted:

"Death Slash."

A massive slash cut through Yaxoc's legs—but he remained standing, elbowed Lucius in the face, and regenerated his wounds instantly.

Yaxoc began sprinting around Lucius in space, creating patterns to confuse him.

Lucius tried eliminating the clones, but Yaxoc appeared behind him and landed an Angelic Flash to his back, making Lucius stumble forward. Yaxoc then struck his face, sending him crashing into another planet.

Descending to the surface, Yaxoc stared at him coldly.

Lucius slowly stood up, battered and exhausted.

"I'm going to kill you…" Lucius mumbled with rage as he prepared a final attack.

"I'M GOING TO GET RID OF YOU WITH THIS ONE LAST ATTACK!" he shouted, chanting:

"Eternal Damnation

Hopeless Fate

False Hope"

"Death Punch: 500%!"

Yaxoc closed his eyes, preparing his ultimate move. His fists glowed brilliantly as memories began flashing through his mind.

FLASHBACK

It's 12:54 PM at a park. Yaxoc and Marcus, just kids, are playing together.

As Yaxoc was about to finish the game, Marcus asked,

"Hey, Yaxoc, can you promise me something?"

Yaxoc turned to him with a smile. "Sure! What is it?"

"Will you always protect me… under any circumstances?" Marcus asked excitedly.

Yaxoc looked curious. "Protect you under any circumstances? Why?"

"Well… it's because we've been friends for a long time. You're the toughest friend I know. That's why I want to make this promise… but let's make it real for one of us," Marcus replied.

"Promise me we'll be together until the end of time… even if we're separated into different classes, across the world… even as Saviors in the future. And if one day I pass away, don't cry or be sad. Just be grateful you had a great friend along the way," Marcus said softly.

Yaxoc looked at Marcus and said,

"Sure! I'll make sure to keep that promise to you, best friend!"

— FLASHBACK ENDED —

Yaxoc opened his eyes. The soul of Marcus appeared beside him.

"I'll keep that PROMISE TO YOU, MARCUS!"

Yaxoc raised his fist toward the blazing sun, charging a massive attack.

"EVEN IF I FAILED MY PROMISE, I'LL KEEP FULFILLING IT! BECAUSE MY DUTY IS TO PROTECT EVERYONE!" yelled Yaxoc.

He then chanted:

"Wisdom"

"Determination"

"Patience"

"Kindness"

"Integrity"

"Bravery"

"Perseverance"

"Justice"

His fists began glowing in a radiant rainbow aura.

"POWER OF HOPE: 希望――現実の天使のような一撃!"

Yaxoc clashed fists with Lucius in a devastating collision that shattered even the highest dimensions.

Everything in reality was obliterated…

Only Lucius's screams echoed in the infinite white void.

Yaxoc woke up, injured and dizzy. He stood slowly, looking around.

"What... Where am I?" asked Yaxoc.

4lan walked in, staring down at him.

"Well, look what we've got here. The protagonist who defeated the antagonist. Took me an hour to clean up that mess," said 4lan.

Yaxoc looked up at him and asked,

"Who are you?"

"I am the Eye of Fragment. I don't usually talk much about my name," 4lan replied, extending a hand to help him up.

Yaxoc brushed off the dust from his ruined jacket and glanced around.

"What is this world?" he asked.

"This is the Realm. You even destroyed my dimension in the process," said 4lan.

"My dimension wasn't built to withstand that kind of explosion... and yet, here we are. You even bypassed the impossible mathematical equations meant to make my dimension unstoppable."

Yaxoc's eyes widened.

"Wait… I destroyed my own world?"

"Well, you kinda did," 4lan said with a shrug.

"So… am I just going to stay here and die?" asked Yaxoc.

4lan looked slightly uncomfortable.

"Well, I wouldn't want to keep you dead here."

He shook his head.

"Luckily, I managed to find a universe where you can stay."

He snapped his fingers, sending Yaxoc to another universe.

Yaxoc woke up in his bed, gasping and looking around as if waking from a dream.

"Wait… I'm back? Just like that?" he asked, getting up and walking to the living room.

"I'm still alone… but it feels like my memories have been erased. I can't remember everything around here," he muttered, heading toward the window.

"Lots of different people… Maybe I should explore. Sometime soon."

He opened the door.
