Li Wei carefully inspected the system screen with a leisurely face, "I didn't think that just by bedding Liu Feng's wife that my physical attributes would improve this quickly." This finding provoked Li Wei to have dark ideas toward the members of Zhou and Shen clans particularly the females.

He was quite positive that after squashing the two big clans his cultivation would clearly surge and may even breakthrough to the Nascent Soul realm, which was the same as Patriarch Liu and his bride. If this were to spread out a great quantity of violence would rain upon the city, after all an ordinary cultivator takes several years to transcend the barrier between Core Formation and Nascent Soul.

While Li Wei merely needed to insult certain Young Masters and Patriarch's and bed their spouses to achieve speedy progress in his cultivation, which was grossly unjust to others that labored for decades on end for an inch of advancement.

'The Zhou clan will undoubtedly deploy some specialists to test the waters…' Li Wei's intelligence had grown as well therefore deducing the plans of a superpower like Zhou clan was a pretty straightforward thing. 'I hope they aren't too weak?'

Leng Yue was still sitting in Liu Mei's chambers regaining her health since the beating and stripping of numerous practitioners had exhausted a little of her vigor. Li Wei knew that his subordinate was still external support, who was their to aid him in desperate times. She would not always be their to aid him, which was why he needed to gather experience and grow stronger.

'I can't squander this chance, else I'll be no different than the last owner of this vessel.' Li Wei's was fairly ambitious and craved all the world had to offer, it was the goal of each cultivator to roam unfettered across the globe and live life to the fullest.

'My ice and flame techniques are still at a pathetically low level, while my swordsmanship is average at best.' Li Wei could more or less assess his strength, which was respectable for a Core Formation Practitioner. However this was far from adequate to him, who had intentions to rule the whole plane let alone a mid sized town like the Crescent Moon City.

Li Wei's attention shifted to his Dantian that was circulating vigorously with ice and fire qi freely moving through his meridians towards the navel, 'if I want to reach the Nascent soul realm quickly, I need the Heaven Ascension pill to forcefully strengthen my meridians and Dantian as the volume of qi is already at the limit.'

The biggest challenge in progressing to the Nascent Soul realm was ultimately the strength of the cultivator's Dantian and meridians, which sometimes had a hard time containing the vast quantities of qi needed to breakthrough. Treasures like the Heaven Ascension pill were created to deal with this issue with minimum negative effects.

'When are those bastards going to show up?' Time passed at a snail's pace as Li Wei anticipated the arrival of his enemies, while Liu Feng was having anxious thoughts over the future of his clan. The decisions he had taken today would eventually entangle the generations to come, who would either remember him with admiration or hatred dependent on the result of the events that followed.

A member of the younger generation of the Liu clan was presently staring at him with absolute displeasure, plainly not satisfied with the decisions he had taken. Liu Feng had long understood that his daughter was not satisfied with the decisions he had made, but opted to ignore her for the time being.

'Father is conspiring with a crazy. While mother is sleeping with him…' Liu Mei did not comprehend the rationale for her parents peculiar action, instead of joining hands with the Zhou and Shen clans to murder the infidel who barged into their home her father sheltered the invader. To make matters worse her mother, who she regarded to be the most chaste and upright lady in Crescent Moon City had given up her body to the guy that humiliated her.

A variety of emotions had confused her head leaving her puzzled by the ever changing circumstances, as the one who had brought upon these troubles was now entrusted with supporting them in their time of need. In Liu Mei's perspective this was like asking a tiger for favors, it was a decision that would come back to haunt them.

'Little Mei, you are still too young to grasp some things…' Lady Chen Xi could clearly observe the confused expression on her daughter's face and understood that the little girl was far from satisfied with some of the choices made by her and the Patriarch.

However, she would not sympathize with her daughter owing to the prospective benefits that might come about when the disagreement was handled. If Li Wei was indeed a hidden dragon then the Liu clan might utilize his influence to climb up and join the elites of the Crescent Moon City, but if the young man turned out to be nothing more than a paper tiger the implications would be terrible for them.

'Liu Feng was way too bold and torched the bridge between us and the two clans before I could find out the truth, but the risk may prove worthwhile.' Lady Chen Xi may have aired out her concerns to her husband, but she did not chastise him since the decision was fairly logical considering the things Li Wei had previously demonstrated.

The two of young masters wanted nothing more than to skin Li Wei alive and consume his blood till the last drop. Negotiations were just impossible as the ego of the two parties could not allow even the tiniest of compromises, which left Liu Feng no alternative than to toss Zhou Tian and Shen Mu out.

Ning Xue and the others had already been allotted temporary accommodations and were presently sitting uneasily in silent prayer, as the conflict to come was too crucial for them to intervene let alone get away from. The trio agreed to dwell together in the hopes that they could face their destinies side by side rather than being alone.

*DONG* *DONG*

When the scorching sun and risen to its pinnacle an earth shaking tremor rocked the entire Liu house, if it weren't for the array still covering the dwelling everyone would have been buried under an unending quantity of debris and rubble. However the array began to flicker more often, which was a strong indicator that it would soon collapse.

"They have finally lost all patience." Li Wei grinned slightly apparently delighted that the opposition had now chosen to act, no longer seated the young man stood up and arrogantly swaggered to the entrance leading out of the main hall.

Liu Feng and the others couldn't stop glancing at the leaving figure of Li Wei with amazement, "Could he actually possess some ability?" One of the seniors lingering in the main hall couldn't help wondering the resolute acts of the young man, who had left the main hall in total silence.
