A member of the Blood Dragon Guard was surrounded and attacked by several pirates, yet he showed no trace of fear. He darted left and right, throwing punches and kicks. Though the pirates' weapons struck his body, they failed to hinder his relentless advance.
One pirate, seizing an opening, launched a sneak attack from behind, driving his longsword deep into the Blood Dragon Guard's back.
Yet, the guard seemed unfazed. Twisting his body to the side, he countered with a backhand punch to the pirate's chest. The blow shattered the pirate's ribs, leaving him coughing up blood before collapsing to his death.
Faced with such a fearless and seemingly invincible opponent, fear quickly spread through the pirates, growing uncontrollably like wildfire.
In no time, the small pirate group was completely annihilated. The Blood Dragon Guard carried two unconscious pirates on his shoulders and quickly returned to Gavin's side.
Without uttering a word, Gavin with a wave of his hand, signaled for an immediate retreat. Without hesitation, they vanished into the dense forest.
At this moment, other pirates who had come to investigate the sounds of the skirmish were closing in on their location. However, Gavin and his team had already broken through the encirclement and were making their way swiftly toward the coast.

Ten days later, Gavin once again stood atop the cliff overlooking the entire Shipbreaker Bay. Below him lay the pirate encampment, while behind him stood fifteen Blood Dragon Guards, eight of whom were clad in full plate armor.
During this time, Gavin had employed guerrilla tactics to eliminate more than a hundred pirates and seizing significant amounts of equipment in the process.
With each successive battle, Gavin's strength grew. As the number of Blood Dragon Guards under his command increased, there were times when he didn't even need to fight personally.
Two days ago, the pirates ceased their search operations and withdrew completely to the safety of their camp.
Thanks to the complete annihilation of the enemy in every encouraging, the pirates remained unaware of the true size of the Blood Dragon Guard force.
Gavin didn't know whether the pirates had chosen to ignore him, leaving him to fend for himself on the island, or if they were preparing for a larger counterattack. Regardless, it no longer mattered to him.
He carefully observed the enemy's camp, contemplating the upcoming night raid, before opening his panel.

The night descended like a heavy curtain over Shipbreaker Bay, and the thick darkness seemed to swallow everything in its path.
Gavin led his fifteen Blood Dragon Guards, moving silently like specters in the night, advancing toward the flank of the pirate settlement.
These fifteen Blood Dragon Guards were lifeless flesh puppets crafted from corpses, devoid of emotion or sensation. They knew neither the fear of death nor the sting of pain.
Silent and resolute, they executed Gavin's commands without question, serving as his most fearless and formidable force.
In the veil of night, the pirate town appeared especially silent, devoid of walls or ramparts for defense.
Only a few solitary wooden towers stood scattered, where a handful of pirates tasked with watch duty were dozing off, completely oblivious to the danger creeping closer.
Leading the charge was Gavin, blending seamlessly with the shadows of the night. His every step was light and nimble, as though carried by the wind itself.
In his hands was a powerful bow, the arrowhead glinting coldly under the faint moonlight. He aimed at the pirates atop the wooden tower, his gaze sharp and filled with killing intent.
The bowstring twanged softly, and the arrow streaked through the night like a flash of lightning, carrying a cutting wind as it pierced the throat of a pirate on the wooden tower.
The unfortunate man fell from the tower without so much as a scream, his life extinguished before he realized what had happened.
Gavin moved without pause, nocking another arrow. With precise aim, another drowsing pirate met his end, his life taken silently.
With the threats atop the tower swiftly neutralized, Gavin and his team slipped into the town like phantoms.
Armed with information extracted from captured prisoners, Gavin had a clear target—the lair of Black Shark "Erl."
Navigating the shadows with swiftly and silently, they avoided potential patrols until they reached the town center. There stood a grand wooden hall, its imposing structure crafted from thick, time worn logs, their surfaces etched with the marks of age and exuding the musty scent of old timber.
The hall, large and divided into two sections, served different purposes. According to the prisoners' confessions, the front part was used for meetings, while the rear served as the residence of Black Shark "Erl".
Gavin scrutinized the surroundings with caution. Finding nothing amiss, he signaled his Blood Dragon Guards. Six of them stayed behind at the entrance, keeping watch and ready to block any potential reinforcements.
Taking a deep breath, resolve flickered in Gavin's eyes. With the rest of his Blood Dragon Guards, he pushed the doors open with force and surged inside like a whirlwind.
The air inside the hall was thick with the smell of alcohol and sweat, a stench strong enough to make you feel sick.
Gavin's gaze swept over the interior swiftly. Several guards, startled awake from their slumber, groggily rubbed their eyes and fumbled for their weapons.
But before they could act, Gavin swung his sword and with a swift stroke, one guard fell, his blood spurting across the floor in a vivid, horrifying splash.
The Blood Dragon Guards followed without hesitation, descending upon their enemies like beasts. Some wielded massive swords with both hands, cutting down guards with powerful swings that whistled through the air, cleaving one man in half and scattering his remains across the ground.
Others relied on sheer strength, lifting their opponents and slamming them to the floor with bone-shattering force, leaving their foes lifeless in an instant.
The hall soon became a grisly scene of blood and chaos. Screams rang out amidst the carnage, but under Gavin and his Blood Dragon Guards' ferocious assault, the guards were quickly annihilated.
Without missing a beat, Gavin pressed forward toward the back of the hall.
A Blood Dragon Guard kicked open the rear door with a resounding crash, rushing in with Gavin close behind. Inside, Gavin finally laid eyes on his target—Black Shark "Earl."
The commotion outside had evidently startled him awake. Clad only in sleepwear, the pirate lord stood ready, sword in hand, adopting a defensive stance.
His gaze shifted warily to Gavin and the Blood Dragon Guards stepping into the room.
"Are you Gavin Belleris?" Black Shark "Earl" asked, his voice tinged with both surprise and suspicion.
Gavin responded with a faint smile. "Indeed. You must be Black Shark 'Earl,' the Pirate-lord?"
Instead of replying, Black Shark "Earl" eyed Gavin and his guards with growing wariness. "It seems you didn't just accidentally end up on this island. You're here for a purpose. Who sent you? The Dorne people? The Saan family?"
The corners of Gavin's mouth curled into a smirk, a hint of disdain flashed in his eyes. "No one sent me. Thanks to you, I did end up here by accident."
