Before heading out to eat, Selina went back to the totally appropriate romance section to read more. Reinhart this time, was a considerable distance away as Selina had asked her.
While searching, an attendant passed by.
"Miss, are you looking for anything to read?" The eager man asked.
"Yeah, I'm a bit bored. What is the most popular book in this section as of now?"
The attendant sorts through the shelf and pulls out a book.
"Here you go, enjoy!" He swiftly walks away.
Selina takes a look at the book
"The Sun That Warmed His Heart" A bit cringey for a title, but eh, it is the most popular as of now, maybe the writing is good. Selina turns the book around to read the summary.
"Noah was the only one who didn't feel nervous staring into his chilly blue eyes. Noah was the only who kept walking up to him despite the mean treatment. He was the only one who stayed while the others left, right?
Before the wedding, Noah went to his friend's place to personally hand the invitation, but got pushed onto a bed, the room locked.
He didn't know what was colder, the chain tied onto to his ankle. or the strong hand gripping his waist and chin.
"I won't let you leave." Those blue eyes, usually emotionless, turned red from crying.
Childhood friends to Lovers- The Cold Duke of the North x The Sun of the Empire
Wait a damn minute, what this a Troye x Noah fanfiction?!
Selina was jaw-dropped, what the fuck?! Why is this in the R-18 section, why did the attendant give this to her when she was Troye's sister, and why is this piece of literature even a thing??? Noah and Troye have indeed known each other since childhood, but friends would be an overstatement. She didn't understand why this ship was popular among the capital, Troye was disgusting, Noah deserved better. Selina had so many questions, but the only way to answer was to read she supposed.
Selina took a deep breath and braced herself. One page turned into two which turned into twenty which turned into her finishing the whole story. She didn't know whether her eyes were blessed or cursed.
"Noah tried to push Troye away, but the cool chain pulled him back.
" 'Troye, what are you doing?'
" 'Marking what's mine' " The duke smirks, using the slender fingers on his large hand to unbutton the prince's shirt.
" 'Troye! I have a fiance, let go of me!'
"Clothes were violently scattered on the floor, but the Duke's gentle embrace told a different story"
" 'Noah, you intruded into my life without my permission, I won't you leave without it too' " The duke kisses the sobbing prince, his tongue dominantly sweeping through his mouth. The prince bites hard, blood flowing out of Troye's tongue."
"Troye glares at the prince, his arms caresses Noah everywhere. He goes lower, his mouth–"
Yeah, let's leave it at that. Her eyes were definitely cursed.
Selina restrains throwing up, but she still keeps the book with her. Not for re-reading, but maybe as an early birthday gift for her dearest brother~
"What are you holding?" The knight, now free to move, asks curiously.
"Don't worry about."
