Sorry (Discontinuation + Summary Of The Story)

This story will no longer be updated because I lost motivation. I appreciate all the support (especially that one person who always comments and gave me power stones) but i just don't want to write anymore. I have a lot of personal problems happening IRL plus with the fact that I was biting off way more than I can chew. At first, I just wanted to expand on a little thought I had but then I realized that I added a bit too many things and didn't know what to do. When I first started this series, every chapter came naturally because I had a plan, an outline. But after reaching the mid-thirties to forties, I spent a lot more time racking my head on what to write, it didn't feel fun anymore, more like an obligation I forcibly placed onto myself. I knew certain details i wanted to write, i just didn't know how to get there, if that makes sense.

Very long summary of the rest of the story:

Reinhart and Selina get together and were supposed to have a few fillers love-dover chapters. (I did genuinely like their relationship)

Selina and Michael go to like the only church available to talk to the saintess about Michael's demon problem. Selina unlocks more memories (turns out "Amelia" and Saintess also had a thing going on).

Selina finds about her past. It turns out, Dragons and Humans physically couldn't have children together, but how was Amelia born? Well, only Amelia's mom knew this fact. Amelia's mom engaged in satanic rituals with Michael's/Protag's/Aegis's dad along with other nobles. She used dragon's blood mixed with whatever demonic shit they were doing to become pregnant. After a few years of Amelia being born, that's when her father let her enter the household and where one of the earliest memories took place.

After finding this fact out, Selina hit dragon awakening 100% where she well...became a dragon BUT with demon-like features; she looked like an abomination. Somewhere done the line, she came clean to Reinhart who accepted her for who she was (reinhart never really felt anything for the actual Amelia) and reassured Selina that she wasn't a monster.

Selina hits Amelia integration 100% where she actually meets and talks with Amelia. Turns out, besides the demon shit, her being born caused other problems. Amelia was losing her soul. Since Amelia wasn't meant to be born, every day, her soul was chipping away until she finally lost it when she turned 18. Since she didn't have a soul anymore, every once in a while, she would get possessed by a person who died.

But everyone who possessed her were just Selina from alternate realities. For Amelia to become an actual person, Selina needed to survive and fully become Amelia to get their soul taken and for Amelia to be whole.

The memories we have seen so far (along with future ones I didn't write) were just Selina from different timelines and universes and the choices they made. By showing her these memories, Amelia hoped for Selina to not make these mistakes. The person talking to her with the virtual screen? Yeah, that was also Amelia.

Amelia reached out her hand, if Selina took it then Amelia would be whole, and Selina would disappear. With the last bit of Amelia's power, the world would reset, starting from the beginning. Selina and Michael would be sent back home with no memories of what happened, and Amelia would get sent back to the time she was born.

Selina didn't really have a choice in the matter because if she didn't take Amelia's hand, they would just be stuck in an endless void for all of eternity.

Selina took her hand and woke up. But she wasn't sent back to her earth, she stayed in her familiar bed...with Amelia right next to her. It turns out, Selina belonged to this world and there was no turning back. Amelia managed to become her own person; catch is that she took some of Selina's soul. But because Selina was meant to be in this world, her soul would slowly rebuild. Selina looked in the mirror, she had her exact appearance from her old world. Michael bursts through the door, his jaw dropped, he also returned back to his original look. Aegis couldn't make it because he was sacrificed to become a vessel for the demon king which Michael and Selina took care of during the church arc.

Amelia smoothly takes the place of Selina and with Selina's efforts to repair her relationship with Troye, she didn't live such a shitty life anymore. Selina lives a peaceful and happy life with Reinhart, and they get married. (With the help of now-emperor-Noah who made same-sex marriage legal in the empire). The end.

Wellll, not really the end. I didn't mention the side-characters.

Reinhart, Noah, Michael, Allister, Troye, Evelyn, Beatrice, and Jessica (there were meant to be other characters introduced like the saintess, but like, I haven't sooo I'm not going to write about them).

Reinhart and Selina are totally head over heels for each other. She retires from her job, gets a heavy severance pay from Troye, and Selina and her live their best life in the capital. At first, Reinhart's character was supposed to be this cold, badass woman who didn't really feel human connection. But that changed when she met Selina. For some reason, Selina was different, and she found herself drawn to her every move. Eventually, Reinhart's character evolved to this awkward softie who just didn't know how to communicate and interact with people. The following events after chapter 49 would be of her spending the whole night reading books on how to apologize to people 101. She would also read about how to "seduce" a person and sneak into the r18 section of the library to...prepare for future events somewhere along the line. I wanted to write at least one spicy chapter about them but alas. Also, Reinhart was the most commonly chosen ending from the previous AUs and the reason why she felt so drawn to Selina in the beginning was because she ended up retaining some of the feelings from her past lives. She loved Selina in every life (even when she wasn't chosen), their relationship only survived in this one.

Noah lived a rough life in the empire, constantly fighting for his life and all that. He lived an especially hard life because he was a male lead and hot af. Ever since he was young, men and women, of various ages wanted him in inappropriate ways. Because of that, although he didn't like Troye, Troye was one of the few people who didn't treat him like a sack of meat, so he stuck around. He felt neutral about Amelia (never really bothered to get close thinking she was like every woman he met). After the human trafficking event and many more, he gained an overprotective fondness for Amelia. Noah thought that he fell in love with Amelia, but in reality, it was just a really strong brotherly/friendly relationship he never had before. Noah didn't fall in love nor marry anyone, but he did become emperor. He also finds out about Selina's identity, but they still remain best buds (comes over pretty often for teatime much to Reinhart's dismay).

Michael, he was a very important emotional support for Selina. This was also the only AU where Michael survived the stalker attack, was a game developer, and transmigrated with Selina. In most of the prior universes, Selina ends up killing herself early on from the stress, depression, mistreatment, etc. He ends up with Allister who didn't mind the new hairdo when Michael got back his og appearance (Allister is a bit human-blind). Also, I mentioned in the FIRST chapter that Allister was 100% Michael's type so that's why they ended up together and got married woohoo.

Allister, his character wasn't really expanded all that much. He's a hot-headed wolf guy. There would've been a lot of angst between him and Michael considering the attack on his kingdom. (Allister didn't personally suffer since he got back Nora and his parents were already dead, but his people did). They settle their differences since it wasn't Michael's fault and get together (Michael introduces Selina as his sister; Allister does not find out about Amelia and Selina)

Troye, delegated to minor character role because fuck him (not literally). Well, he did turn around. Became an overprotective brother (but like the weirdly overprotective types like in manhwas.) Selina feels neutral about him; Amelia hates him but comes around eventually with their new-found relationship. Everyone in the cast find about Selina's and Reinhart's pretty early on. Troye was one of the first to agree to Noah's same-sex law for Selina's sake. He finds out about Selina and Amelia and tries to mend their relationship. Gets jealous of Michael pretty often for being Selina's actual brother.

Beatrice and Jessica get their happily ever after with the same-sex marriage law. (Jessica was the FIRST to agree.).

Evelyn and Amelia get married. Evelyn didn't know about Amelia and Selina; she simply likes Amelia for being Amelia, no matter the soul (fell in love with Amelia before the soul change). Amelia also liked her too but locked away her feelings because she knew they couldn't be together. Evelyn chased her in every lifetime, ended up together in this one.

And that should be all. A whole lot to write but I didn't know a lot of ways to tackle it. Would take an eternity to finish at my rate. I'm probably still going to be writing stories, just when I become a better writer and have my shit together. Until next time.
