The Commander IV

The battle had raged on for what felt like an eternity. The dungeon chamber was littered with scorch marks, broken stone, and traces of magic that had clashed violently. The warriors, bruised and battered, pushed through the pain, their determination unyielding.

Sera, Doran, Sylra, and Orin vs. Rynx, the Third Commander

Rynx's red-furred form was covered in wounds, yet he refused to fall. His claws, still crackling with the dark energy that enhanced them, slashed through the air as he roared in frustration. He had underestimated them, this was no ordinary group of adventurers.

Doran, breathing heavily, lifted Moltenheart once more. Blood trickled down his arm, but his grip on the hammer never wavered. With a deep breath, he poured everything into his next swing. The hammer glowed bright orange as he channeled pure energy into it.

"Molten Crush!"

The hammer struck the ground with such force that the entire chamber trembled. The shockwave sent Rynx stumbling, opening a perfect opportunity. "Sera, now!" Sylra called out, her voice echoing in the air. She played a sharp, urgent melody on her flute, casting Battle Hymn to enhance Sera's power. Sera's eyes glowed with a brilliant green as vines as thick as tree trunks burst from the ground, wrapping tightly around Rynx. Unlike before, these were unbreakable, strengthened by her newfound mastery.

Sylra used 'Thunder Requiem' and hit rynm with huge bolts of lightning multiple time leaving Rynx in vulnerable position as he struggle to move, then she used 'Battle Hymn' which boosted Orin, as he felt loads of energy surge through his body. "Finish him of" Sylra called, as Orin took the final strike. With a war cry, he dashed forward, his spear shimmering with metal energy. Impaling Edge extended his reach, piercing straight through Rynx's chest. The monstrous bear let out one final roar, not willing to give up before his massive body collapsed.

The fight was over.

Junith, Darek, Lila, and Fizzle vs. Iyvl, the Second Commander

Iyvl's illusions had pushed them to their limits. Each of them bore cuts from unseen blades, bruises from dodging too late, and exhaustion from countering her tricks. But they had lasted long enough.

Junith, standing firm despite her wounds, spun her polearm in a controlled motion. She kept on analyzing the illusion and what could be the next move. As Darek and Lila were doing their best hold off Ivyl and acting as a shield to Junith. After a while Junith called out "Now or Never", as she prepared herself to a last resort , performing 'Energyquake' and with a final burst of energy, she slammed the weapon into the ground, sending a wave of magical force outward. The shock disrupted Iyvl's illusions, revealing her true form.

Darek didn't waste a second. He quickly moved as he extended his sword, vines surging from the ground like hungry snakes, wrapping around Iyvl. She shrieked, struggling, but this time, the magic held strong. Darek used 'Terra Smash' as large pile of rocks collected in the air and projected towars Iyvl as she was sent flown away. Lila quickly stepped forward without wasting any time, her sword engulfed in both fire and water simultaneously. She had struggled to balance the two elements before, but now, she wielded them as if they were one. As she called out 'Flame from the Depth" and with a powerful slash, a torrent of flames and water struck Iyvl, burning and freezing her at once.

Iyvl let out a final, agonized hiss before her form disintegrated into mist. Victory...

Drakar, Cyrus, and Adrian vs. Eefan, the First Commander

Eefan stood amidst the ruins of their battle, his hardened antlers glistening with blood, both his and theirs. He panted, but his eyes remained sharp, determined to fight to the bitter end.

Drakar, however, had reached his limit. He clenched his axe, flames licking at his body as his internal temperature skyrocketed. His eyes glowed like molten lava. "Overheat Mode!" The temperature in the chamber surged as Drakar's entire form was engulfed in blazing dragon fire. His body radiated intense heat, his movements blurring with power. He lunged at Eefan with a speed and strength that no one, not even Eefan, could react to.

Eefan tried to counter, but Drakar's burning axe met his hardened antlers, and this time, they cracked. The commander staggered back, his defenses failing.

Adrian, his body aching from countless near-fatal blows, felt something shift within him. His mind sharpened, his perception expanding. He could see it, the possibilities of every attack, every counter, every movement. In that instant, he understood. With fluid precision, he dashed forward, sword glowing as he found the perfect opening. His blade struck true, piercing through Eefan's defenses.

Then Cyrus quickly took this chance as he simultaneously sent his attack towards Eefan. 'Fireball' , 'Aqua Lance' , 'Wind Cutter' , 'Geo Power' , as Eefan was struggling to keepup and recover. He even with all the damage he suffered was standing on his feet and tried to charge toward Drakar and Adrian, who were now tired. But before he could reach them Cyrus called out ' Energy Nova' as a huge surge of energy, shaking the atmosphere were concentrated in front of Cyrus, and within fraction of a second was launched toward Eefan, as it hit him a huge blast was created, even pushing away Adrian and Draker, as Cyrus stood releasing a sense of relief, "Hufff".

As the mighty commander let out one final breath before falling.

The battle was over.

---

The chamber fell silent. Only the heavy breathing of the warriors remained as they stood amidst the aftermath. Blood, sweat, and exhaustion clung to them, but they had done it. The commanders were defeated.

There was no celebration, only quiet relief.

Cyrus, still standing tall despite his wounds, nodded in approval. "You all fought well."

Junith wiped the sweat from her brow. "We need to regroup before moving forward."

Lila and Sera, despite their exhaustion, exchanged glances. They had grown stronger—this battle had proven that. Doran, still gripping his hammer, exhaled deeply. He, too, had reached a new level. As they prepared to move forward, a sense of unease settled over them.

Then...Everything went black...
