part 9

Tom thought that if he became the leader, the soldiers who followed his tactics would earn as many points as the enemies they hit.

He glanced around at the men and called a bright-eyed blonde soldier to his side.

"Do you know the enemy leader?"

"Albert, 26 years old. He's been in this camp for 8 years."

Tom thought about it. The other side was experienced—could they use that experience against him?

He turned to the soldiers. "Can any of you steal an incubator?"

A few soldiers raised their hands, though they thought it was absurd.

Tom sent some scouts to observe the other side.

Albert had sent out his scouts and noticed that there was no movement from the red side.

He assumed the red team was cowering in fear and decided to storm them directly.

"Reconnaissance team, check for traps. Soldiers, we're taking cover and heading for the other side."

40 minutes later, Albert was at the top of the enemy's position, with various instruments signaling activity from inside.

Albert realized it was a trap. In fact, he thought no trap would work against him, but it was the unknown that scared him the most.

He didn't know what awaited him inside. Hesitating, he decided to retreat and observe for a little longer.

"The plan worked. The blue team is retreating."

"Understood."

At that moment, Tom had taken 20 soldiers with him and positioned himself at the retreat point of the opposing side.

They had been cautious on their way in, but would they pay the same attention on the way out?

Tom decided to take advantage of this.

Albert and his soldiers appeared on the road. Albert chose to wait a little longer, so he began retreating.

Just then, he saw over four bombs falling in front of them. In panic, he shouted, "Close your eyes!"

But it was too late. The flash bombs exploded, turning everything white.

Tom emerged from cover and started firing. At the same time, the other soldiers came out from their hiding places.

Tom had already shot 7 people, and his weapon proficiency was increasing rapidly.

Even though the soldiers at the front were blinded, those at the rear still had clear vision and started firing.

The soldiers in the rear had the advantage of sight and began returning fire. But by that point, Tom's soldiers, positioned at the base, had already approached from behind, exposing the blue team to crossfire from two sides.

They despaired and were quickly wiped out.

Red team wins +100 points

Strategic assist +400 points

Apparently, Tom earned 2 points per kill because he had set the strategy.

In the evening, Tom decided to reach the maximum level he could achieve in the remaining 29 days.
