15 part

Tom looked at the weapon in the goblin's hand. It was a big, spiked stick. The goblin started running towards him. Tom drew his sword from its hilt and made a quick cut.

The goblin let out a roar of pain. There was a wound on its torso, but it was only superficial. The goblin swung its club at Tom.

Tom dodged the club with demon-like agility and launched another attack. He aimed for the goblin's head, but the creature was protecting it as if it knew his intentions.

This left Tom with limited attack options, and he noticed with horror that the goblin's wound was slowly healing.

Tom dodged the goblin's next attack, racking his brain for a solution to kill it.

Two hours passed. In that time, Tom had dodged countless attacks. But just because he wasn't wounded didn't mean he had won. He was exhausted. The goblin, too, was growing tired. Although it could heal its wounds, the process drained its stamina.

Tom thought of a plan, but he needed to distract the goblin to execute it.

By now, the goblin was used to its opponent retreating. It swung its barbed stick more recklessly, as if certain Tom would dodge again.

But this time, Tom did something unexpected—he ran straight at the goblin.

With a swift somersault, he landed on the goblin's stick, using an unbarbed section as leverage. He launched himself into the air and aimed his blade at the goblin's head.

The goblin felt itself being lifted off the ground. It was two meters tall and weighed nearly 200 kilos—how could this puny human toss it into the air? The realization hit too late as the light faded from its eyes.

Tom landed gracefully on the ground, the goblin's headless corpse collapsing behind him.

To be honest, this "Hormonal Goblin" had been quite formidable. But Tom hadn't killed it just for survival; where else could he find a regenerating target for practice?

"Congratulations, GOTBLIN. You have earned the title: A Hunter, Not a Prey."

Title Effect: +5% perception when fighting against higher-level beings.

Tom now understood there was a system of levels and titles, though it wasn't fully accessible to him yet.
