I observed her reaction after my words and her lips curled in a small smile. A bit of relief flashed through her soft brown eyes and I tilted my head a bit to side at the realization she was a bit worried about everything.

"Okay," she responded and picked up the last slice of bread on her plate prepped with eggs and ham. Biting a bit if it she asked. "Can I get a few details about what you plan to discuss with them?"

"There's no much details to it," I declared in a shrug which made her lift a brow at my action while she chewed. "I'll just inform them about the fact I chose you as my second chance mate and we'd be getting married and mated soon."

Her mouth stopped moving for a few seconds, I watched her expression go blank as her brain seemed to process my words. It didn't take long for her eyes to widen and she tried to speak but ended up choking instead.
