Ivonne's POV
I quietly sat there, vision raised upwards as I watched everything unfold in front of me. Tobias simply stood there, mouth agape and eyes wide as she wrapped her hands on his neck and pulled him in.
His face got buried in her shoulder, his eyes shutting as he did so as if he was trying to commit those moments to his memory. It took everything in me to hold myself from letting out a gasp.
I counted the seconds as the ticked by, already setting a mark in my head about when to react if it exceeded the time I had set. Luckily for all of us, their embrace was disentangled nevertheless they still held hands.
She reached out a palm to rub his cheek, a strong emotion on her face which I could see reflecting through Tobias's irises. In that moment I felt I had to step in and cleared my throat, bringing their attention to the fact they were not the only ones in the room and the fact they were being disrespectful to me, especially Tobias.
