Ivonne's POV
"You did what?" I let out a question and laughed humorlessly.
"Excuse me," Lora bowed, avoiding Tobias gaze and slipped between the both of us, hurrying down the stairs.
I nodded at her as she scurried past us and pushed open the door of the room. I kept mute till I hauled my bag over my shoulder and ambled to the bedside table to drop my bag.
The sound of the door shutting reached my ears and I inhaled a deep breath, whirling around to face him, my palm pressd to the table as I leaned my body on it. "When did that happen?"
"She called me at the office and asked which room to move her things into," he revealed, running his fingers through his hair that had hints of grey strands in them and gazed pointedly at me.
"Weren't you the person who asked her to bring her luggage into the mansion?" I raised a question, my head cocked to side as I awaited his response.
