King Raymond's POV
Even now, I have heard nothing from Ace or Ray. I can't shake the worry; I can only hope they're alright.
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Nathaniel, my personal attendant, entered with an urgency in his step.
"Your Highness," he began, breathless, "I found the letter you were looking for. The last letter we received from Thunoa Village bears a forged seal."
A smile crept onto my lips. This wasn't the first time we had encountered a forged seal letter, but I couldn't believe Ace had overlooked it; he had placed too much trust in Thunoa Village.
A flurry of wings interrupts my thoughts. A carrier pigeon, a splash of white against the grey stone, circles the throne room.
Nathaniel raised his left hand, and the pigeon landed gracefully on his outstretched arm.
