Chapter 54: Unveiled Identities

Ovelia's POV

The seriousness etched on everyone's faces, a direct result of Philip's words, sent a chill down my spine. We hadn't come to Thunoa Village for a leisurely vacation; our mission—was to capture the bandits threatening the supply routes for merchants, travelers, and food suppliers heading to the Silverhowl Kingdom for the lantern festival.

I may not be the strongest among us, but I yearned to support them in any way I could.

Gathering my courage, I stood up. Their gazes shifted towards me, a mix of curiosity and surprise.

"Um, I don't think everyone has eaten yet, right? If it's okay, maybe we could grab a bite first? You all need the energy for later," I said, my voice tinged with shyness, my hands nervously fidgeting with the hem of my tunic.

"Sure, Lia. Philip, save your updates about the bandits and Khaleed for later," Ace replied, a reassuring smile softening his features.
