Catherine exclaimed, "Is not he handsome? A perfect girl deserves a wonderful man," as she watched the maids put on her daughter's bridal gown.
Gazing intently at the mirror while the beauty artist rearranged her cosmetics for the final time, Zara whispered, "Not everyone is as perfect as the seems."
She teased her daughter, fluttering her eyelids with a flirty smile, but stopped when she saw Zara's angry expressions. "Is there a problem honey, I thought you were drawn to him last time and moreover I did not see you two again last night after you both went for a chit talk," she said.
She stood next to her daughter and told the servants to go, she said, "What is wrong, dear? What did he say to you last night?"
Following a brief period of silence, Zara started crying as her anxious mother gave her a strong hug while caressing her hair.
Her tears ruined her makeup as she raised her head from her mother's shoulder, he told me that he had someone other in his heart,"
"He claimed that our marriage was only a monarchical alliance and that he is in love with someone else,"
She became enraged and said, "How dare he say such a thing, I need to have a chat with your father and his parents, I will not let any disrespectful brat treat you with disdain." She was shocked that her daughter was being treated this way, especially on her wedding day, of course the marriage was for a peaceful alliance but he doesn't have rub it on her face.
"Don't cry anymore darling," she tries to comfort her daughter, She said, "Just wait here, I need to clarify things first,"
"What about the wedding,"
She kissed Zara's forehead and said, "Damn the wedding, you are far more important than any wedding," before leaving the room.
Catherine asked Eugene, who had been waiting by the entrance, to assist her in comforting her daughter.
"No worries ma'am, I'll do just that," Eugene convinced, stepping into the room while Catherine left to meet her husband.

The door was jerked open while George and King Luther were speaking.
"What is the deal, Catherine? You ought to be getting Zara ready for the wedding. He halted when he saw his wife's irate face.
She glared at King Luther and said, "King Luther, I came in at the appropriate time," as both Kings could not help but wonder what was wrong.
"What's wrong, Queen Catherine?" King Luther questioned, grimacing with a wrinkled nose.
"Well, you should asked your son that question, how dare your son hurt my daughter," Catherine yelled at the worried Luther who can't help but wonder what his son did.
"What did he do to our daughter," King George questioned in a worried tone,
"He told our daughter that he's going to be cheating on her with some mistress that owns his heart,"
"Oh damn," King Luther whispered with clenched fists.
"Are you trying to take my daughter to mistreat her?" King George questioned King Luther with an angry tone,
"No George, we promise to take care of Zara like our daughter," Luther tried to reassure both of them who turned deaf ears.
"I'm sorry but I can't just hand over my daughter to you after hearing this,"
"We can't just cut off a long time alliance, just because of little issues like this, give me time to talk to my son," King Luther pleaded, walking out to meet his son angryly.

"What wrong with you Eric are you bent on tarnishing Endorias image, how could you say such a thing to Zara," Adela yelled at her son, who's face showed no remorse.
Eric was rather furious at the fact that Zara had shared what he told her privately to her parents.
"What if this news sprayed to the public, how will other kingdoms see Endoria,"
I want you to go and apologize to Zara now," Luther commanded before walking out of the room.
"I thought Wendy left you, why don't you let her go, apologize to Zara okay?" Adela told Eric who just nodded and watched her leave.

Eric stood in front of Zara's door feeling agitated as he watched her read a novel laying on her bed.
"If you can't knock you could just make your presence known," Zara who had noticed him from the top of her book said, dropping the book on her bed
"What do you want?"
"I'm sorry, for telling you the truth," Eric bellowed, folding his arms as he glared angryly at Zara who also looked at him with the same angry look.
"Are you sure you're sorry?" Zara questioned pressing her lips firmly together
"Look your parents want to call off this marriage,"
"So... let them do it,"
"That can tarnish Endoria image, what would other kingdoms think of us,"
"That not my problem," Zara shrugged, keeping a blank expression that anger Eric more.
"If it would lessen your anger, Wendy and I are no longer together," he said watching her reaction closely and was happy when her angry expression lessen. "She left without any explanation..., She left me heartbroken,"
"Is that why you agreed to this marriage,"
"Yes,"
"Sorry about that," no matter how much Zara hated him and hated the fact that she a second choice, she still had sympathy for him.
"What can I do to make you forgive me,"
"I want you to beg me properly and promise me you won't keep a mistress," she requested, supporting her head with her palm as she waited for him to reply.
"From the depths of my heart, I'm sorry and I promise not to make you angry, I also promise not to keep a mistress,"
"Are you sure your keeping that promise,"
"I'm keeping and not breaking it,"
"Holly you're my witnesses," Eric turned and saw and Alaskan dog lying on its bed that was beside Zara own, it bark in response which made both of them to laugh.
I'll inform my dad about arranging our wedding date again," she said as Eric smile grew wider
"And you need to promise me one more thing that we will get along well," she said with a dimpled smile.
"With the dog as my witnesses, I promise to do so," he replied as they both burst into laughter.
