With a dismissive gesture, Bilak left the room. Ferenizio remained reflective. He had to report, as soon as the audition with the one who sought him was over, on how his sister managed not only to get into Gatia, but also into the palace of the capital which had a firm and loyal guard to Ferenizio and which should, therefore, have denied him entry. Moreover, even worse, why was she the one to give him notice that someone was requesting it? If the guards had given in to any of the goddess's temptations, which was highly likely, she would punish them mercilessly for disobeying her orders and technically mocking him to his face.
