Dante has spent his life in the secluded Village of Riverant, curious about the world beyond its walls but kept there and trained over the years by his caretaker, Rita, for his own safety. His questions about his true origins seem destined to remain unanswered—until two students, Terra and Xavien, arrive, drawn by rumors of a boy who is part man, part beast arrive to the village one day.

Offering Dante the chance to leave and discover not only what's outside of the walls, but his true heritage, they invite him to the Kingdom of Auradelle. A successful and prospering kingdom in the Eastern Region. But as a Dragonborn, Dante must face the challenges of blending into a society that not only fears, but will rid of his kind if found out. Will the two students be his key to freedom and what he's always wanted to know, or will the outside world prove more dangerous than he ever imagined and it all be for naught.

SYPHER

"Light Arrows, this early…? She must mean business…" He said as a bead of sweat dropped from his face, watching the many formed bulbs of magic suddenly project into perfect arrowhead shaped spectrals. Her hand suddenly flew downwards as she beckoned the name of the spell clearly.

"Lux Missilis"

She brought her hand down quickly as the many spires of light shot out, piercing many of the present monsters that ended up clearing the way for the group.

"Press forward, we're not stopping until we see our targets!"

"Right!" The group yelled as they pressed through the herd of kobolds that were pierced by each shot with pinpoint accuracy. Striking them down as they dissipated into ash as they were defeated. Only leaving a few bits of materia behind, Nolan quickly scooped a few bits up as they continued running.

"That's 3 copper materia, 7 more!" Nolan yelled as the group continued their push to the next floor. He placed them in a small pouch before they moved through the next area. The walls widened once more, filled with small craters and stalactites along the ground. Creatures began to appear, in multiple shapes in sizes, drawing out their weapons, the group halted before meeting them.

"We've made it." Azuri stated as she looked amongst the crowded area. Making sure to scout the area clearly for the best course of action. Her eyes quickly averted to the different sorts of monsters she could spot before giving out demands.

"Kobolds, Mushrooms, Weremoles." she quickly stated before yelling out her next orders to the group, who were bunched up in the formation Azuri ordered in the beginning. Dante stood in the front of the group as Iris and Jarrett stood to the sides, leaving Nolan in the center, primed with their wands and Dante's sword.

"Dante, watch for the kobolds, you make sure to protect Nolan! Iris and Jarrett, keep the Kobolds at bay with offensive casts. Nolan, use your sensory magic to find the weremoles! I'll provide support from above."

"Right!" The group agreed as their plan went into effect. The kobolds banged on their shields as they began to rush forward. Emerging from different spots, Dante quickly stepped forward and brandished his sword proudly. He'd been waiting for this moment for the longest, to show that he can do something useful outside of casting.
