Frid Lino's life was defined by isolation. As an orphan, he had no family to care for him and learned early on that survival depended on discipline and self-reliance. Reserved and cold, Frid buried his emotions, pouring everything into his studies. His grades were impeccable, and his goal was simple, work hard, secure a job, and live without the distractions of attachment or affection. But fate had other plans, mostly through the interference of those far more privileged than he.
Ricardo Lennox, a rebellious young master from the powerful Lennox Group, was sent to the strict GKM High School in City Z to shape up. His arrogance and troublemaking often put him at odds with authority. On his first day, he met Frid, a quiet and studious boy who initially kept his distance but, over time, forged an unlikely friendship with Ricardo. Frid, having no powerful connections, was cautious, yet he saw a side of Ricardo that wasn't just devil-may-care, Ricardo wasn't as bad as he seemed. Their bond grew, but their friendship was destined to be tested when Zoie Stewart entered the picture.
Zoie Stewart, the beautiful and composed eldest daughter of the Stewart family, was the fiancée of Ricardo due to a childhood arranged marriage. When she transferred to GKM High School, she became the center of attention, sparking jealousy and rivalry among her classmates. Ricardo, unable to tolerate anyone showing interest in her, took matters into his own hands, which eventually led to his expulsion. In his absence, Ricardo demanded that Frid keep an eye on Zoie, acting as her unofficial protector. Frid, loyal to his friend, complied without hesitation, providing updates on Zoie's interactions.
However, things took a dark turn when Zoie accused Frid of harassing her. She claimed he had made unwanted advances, even managing to find others who would support her accusation. Furious, Ricardo used his influence to have Frid expelled, ruining his chances of continuing his education and finding employment. Stripped of everything, Frid's life fell into disarray. He became a shadow of his former self, living in poverty, subsisting on scraps, and becoming unrecognizable to anyone who once knew him.
Though he suffered greatly, Frid never blamed anyone, not even Zoie, despite her deceit. He watched as Ricardo and Zoie's marriage flourished, their lives seemingly perfect while he was left to struggle. He saw his hardships as a form of karmic retribution, a price for something he couldn't quite understand. Despite his efforts, he never found a stable job, his health deteriorating over time. By the time he reached his fifties, a heart condition that had been silently worsening claimed his life. In the end, Frid's story remained one of quiet endurance, never seeking vengeance, simply enduring the life that fate had dealt him.
Aaron got his memories too. The boy lived a life of worms. He stumbled and was shoved by others. Barely eating any food he survived through the orphanage period. He studied everything he got. Never leave a single piece of knowledge, inserting everything inside his brain. His goal was to gain a scholarship every time and get out of the orphanage. He got out and joined a perfect secondary school and high school working in a café and other areas. He spent his remaining time in the library. His name was well known as the bookworm. Everything was okay till he met Ricardo and Zoie. Afterward, he lived a worse life, no one would have visualized.
Still in the end his thoughts were the same and his wish were too. He wants nothing but a stable job and peaceful life. He would never interfere with others' business. A wise extremely wise and foolish person is Frid Lino.
Aaron absorbed all his painful moments. As the original owner's wish, he would not touch anyone and only study to get into the top university. He has to work harder to make his wish come true.
The first day of the new school year was just around the corner. All the students would take their seats, receive their books and uniforms from the teacher, and of course, everyone needed a backpack. Aaron remembered he had one, though it was old and well-worn. His clothes, too, had been used for nearly three years. But as someone who had never complained about his resources, Aaron didn't mind. He wasn't the type to make a fuss over something so trivial. Life had never been about the things he lacked, but about making do with what he had.
The main point is that the male lead, and they never met till now. The opportunity to change everything is within his grips. He promised himself that he would live a quiet and healthy life this time. Will not interfere with others but accepting others' goodwill without resistance is not a restricted right. He thought of something and smiled.
Seeing his shift of facial expression the System came out: [Host must not be OOC. This character has always been a stone face. Changing even the slight movements would make your points deducted.]
Aaron frowned and dropped his arch lips showing his real stone face. He sighed feeling so troublesome. He closed his eyes and spoke with System. The character is very well and excellent for Aaron. He doesn't like people around him and is a quiet type of person.
He asked, "This plane is also like last time, isn't it?"
In reply to him system said, "It is. Every world we visit are all like this. To be more precise and for your information. In every world Ace would be male lead and you cannon fodder." Because you chose to be. He didn't think the last sentence is necessary to be known to him. As he expected Aaron said, "I'm relieved to know that."
The system knows him very well. Aaron would rather get killed then having Ace face any dangers. He as a little soul has no memories of his past life and all he remembers is this that he has to provide every necessary information to Aaron and help him gaining points. He took this job very seriously and has everything ready about this plane.
Together with him, currently, there are other two people in this dorm room, they are twins of the opposite gender Sera and Kent Rubin. For some reason, they are together. Maybe it is because they are here for the first time.
Aaron couldn't help but reckon but didn't dare to expect too much. Perhaps he is right perhaps not. He can't do anything about this. Frid is his name. He repeated it a few times and slept.
The next morning, Aaron woke up early, already in motion. He quickly grabbed his toothbrush and made his way to the bathroom for a quick freshening up and shower. As he spat out the toothpaste foam, he caught a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror. The youth staring back at him was slender and pale, with big, dark eyes that seemed to carry a quiet depth. His small, delicate features gave him an almost ethereal, innocent look, like the kind of face you'd see on a baby character in one of those manga stories. He couldn't help but think how perfectly fitting it was for a character who lived a quiet life, unnoticed yet somehow captivating.
