[Allen's Perspective]
After my conversation with Dennis, I went to see Doll the next day. She instructed me to ensure Gianna strictly followed her dietary and rest schedule to regain her strength.
Weeks went by, and Gianna's physical and mental health steadily improved.
Doll suggested that Gianna needed to step outside the house. Keeping her confined might make her feel imprisoned. Of course, someone had to accompany her at all times.
Most days, I kept my distance and watched her from afar. Jessica, my cousin, had taken over looking after Gianna, helping her step out of her room. The two of them got along remarkably well.
I couldn't help but wonder how Jessica would feel once Dennis ended Gianna's life.
Gianna was kind, so much so that it was impossible to hate her. She had done nothing wrong. I couldn't understand why her family had treated her so cruelly.
