Chapter 21:I'm So High.

Home didn't feel exciting as it always did the other times before when Gu Shan visited. Maybe it was because of all the negative thoughts consuming his happiness. He hoped to visit his uncle after going back to Beijing because the man always knew how to lighten him up but unfortunately his uncle was out of the country. He had gone abroad for a two weeks medical research trip .

Gu Shan's face lit up when the cab he had just ordered arrived within the expected time. This time he had reported back early for the spring semester. The taxi driver helped him put the luggage in the taxi before hitting the road. The car's atmosphere was soothingly comfortable with sensual music playing in the background. Gu Shan was excited to hear one of his favourite songs from his favourite girl bands. He hummed to the tune letting the music wash away his negative feelings.

The taxi driver looked like a man in his mid thirties. He looked elegant and regal almost like a company CEO. Gu Shan really wanted to praise him for having a good taste in music as his favourite songs played back to back. He was a little jetlagged but his mood had been slightly lifted by the songs and the fact that he would take a long rest stretch his tensed muscles unrestrainedly till they reach their limit filled him with anticipation. And that's what he did immediately he hopped inside the apartment. The place was tranquil a perfect atmosphere to let Morpheus take full control over him. Liu Daxun had not returned yet so Gu Shan was probably home alone. He threw his drained body on his soft mattresses and didn't bother to cover himself. Spring was around the corner so the temperatures were rising so it wasn't that much cold.

The next time Gu Shan opened his doe eyes it was already evening around six. He had slept for five whole hours. However it was worth it because thanks to the sleep he was able to recharge himself. He quickly got up and seeing he was covered in sweat he decided to freshen up. He quickly undressed himself and tossed his dirty clothes in the laundry basket before stepping into the bathroom.

He stood directly under the shower and turned it on but was shocked when not a even a single drop of water came out. He tapped the shower head maybe to revive it but still nothing came out. He clicked his tongue and groaned in frustration. He had no experience in dealing with such problems. His whole life had be damn smooth and if they were problems he'd have someone else fix it. His skin itched and he was in urgent need of a shower. He walked out of the bathroom feeling helpless. He took a pair of clean sweatpants and T-shirt and slipped his slim sexy body in the selected clothes . He thought of calling Liu Daxun to find out how he was supposed to deal with such an issue but he suddenly realized his traitor of a phone was dead and he had to charge it first.

Out of frustration Gu Shan stormed out of the apartment to get some fresh air. He wasn't sure whether the bartender duo had returned but regardless of that he still tried his luck and knocked at their apartment. Luckily,the door creaked open and Li Yunxi appeared before his eyes. As usual the guy was looking handsome as hell with slightly messy hair wearing a pair of flannel pants and a baggy Tshirt .

"Hi,"Gu Shan choked out nervously.

"Hi,"Li Yunxi greeted back in a low raspy voice.

"Is your shower working? Ours seems to be broken so can I use yours?" He requested.

"Sure."

Gu Shan went back to his apartment to pick his towel and whatever he needed. He was glad to have found a quick solution to his problem. With the cold water constantly wetting his body,the thought of his plan resurfaced and he kept considering whether he should start putting the plan into action now that he had already encountered him.

After freshening up and dressing up,Gu Shan joined Li Yunxi in the living room. Li Yunxi was lying on the couch with a remote control in his hands while he switched the channels trying to find something worth watching.

"Oh you're done?"Li Yunxi asked seeing Gu Shan appear before him looking as fresh as a daisy. As Gu Shan's scent caressed his nostrils he felt so relaxed. He wish he could grab him and sniff the scent directly.

"I have something to do in my room I'll be back,"Li Yunxi revealed placing the remote control on the table,"You can watch whatever you want,"He added.

"When will Hui-ge be back?"

"He came back yesterday but he had an emergency at home and he had to go back."

"Oh,"Gu Shan responded awkwardly,"Do you have something to eat? I'm famished,"Gu Shan requested casting his gaze on the floor feeling embarrassed by his own request.

"You can grab something from the cupboards,"Li Yunxi said measuring him from head to toe before leaving for his room.

Gu Shan walked to the kitchen and opened the cupboard. His eyes scanned for something edible and his gaze immediately landed on a packet of cookies which he grabbed immediately. He unsealed it and began munching on the cookies. They tasted way better than the ones he normally bought. He settled on the couch and continued eating them till he felt he was satisfied. He placed all his attention on the TV screen but slowly his vision started become blurry. He felt a surge of adrenaline rush through his veins and he sprang up from the seat.

"Yunxi gege where did you go?"He called out with gusto.

He continued calling out Li Yunxi fondly until the guy finally appeared. He stood at a distance defensively watching and ready for whatever mischief the boy was about to unfold. Slowly the boy began undressing.

"What are you doing?" Li Yunxi asked confusedly and rushed towards the boy.

"What? Don't you want me to undress? Don't you want to see my sexy body?"Gu Shan smiled sheepishly. He yanked his body from Li Yunxi's grasp and ran around taking off his clothes.

He started dancing making seductive moves. This was not part of the activities in the revenge plan but it just happened.

Coupled with feelings of euphoria,Gu Shan felt weightless and uninhibited. He felt a relaxing and slightly tingly sensation.

"Yunxi gege! I'm so high! "Gu Shan screamed with joy raising his hands above his head.

Li Yunxi was clearly shocked and confused at the boy's sudden change of behaviour. Was he pulling some funny stunt on him?Just then he shot his eyes towards the table and saw the packet of cookies there. He immediately understood why the boy was behaving so. The boy had just consumed Xiao Hui's bhang infused cookies.

"Silly boy! He didn't even notice they are bhang infused,"Li Yunxi cursed.

"Let's step into the ocean now!"Gu Shan shouted excitedly hallucinating about an ocean. He raised his leg to a certain level before dipping it in the imaginary ocean water. He almost lost balance and fell but Li Yunxi grabbed him trying to keep him under control.
