SHAMAN’S PORTAL

ORIGIN: Oklahoma

This legend centers around the mysterious happenings in Beaver Dunes Park, located in the Oklahoma Panhandle.

The Shaman's portal also referred to as the "Oklahoma Bermuda Triangle," is a desolate area with many tales of unexplained disappearances, strange lights, and a portal rumored to transport people to another realm.

The legend dates back to the 1500s when Spanish conquistadors, led by Francisco Vázquez de Coronado, ventured into the region in search of the fabled city of gold.

According to local stories, several of Coronado's men vanished without a trace after encountering a strange green light that seemed to come out from within the dunes.

Native American tribes in the area had long warned of a cursed land, referring to it as a place where spirits wandered and 'otherworldly' forces claimed the living.

In modern accounts, travelers and campers witnessed pulsating green lights, and experienced confusing differences and lapses in time.

Some say the dunes hide a shamanic portal, which was a rift between our world and another dimension.
