LOVELAND FROGMAN

ORIGIN: Loveland, Ohio.

The Loveland Frogman is an eerie urban legend that hails from Loveland, Ohio, a small town near Cincinnati.

This creature is a humanoid frog, standing around 4 feet tall, with leathery skin, webbed hands and feet, and a face resembling a frog or lizard.

Its bulging eyes and amphibian-like features are said to be both disturbing and impossible to forget.

The first reported sighting dates back to 1955, when a traveling businessman claimed to see three frog-like creatures standing upright under a bridge along the Little Miami River.

He said he watched in shock as the beings spoke with each other in a language he couldn't understand.

… And that One of them held up a wand-like object brought out sparks.

Over the years, sightings continued, with the most notable occurring in 1972, when a Loveland police officer said he saw a frog-like creature leap over a guardrail and into the river.

Another officer later reported a similar thing happened in the same area.

Despite attempts to explain these events as a misidentified iguana or escaped exotic pet, the legend still lives on.

Locals still whisper about the Loveland Frogman, and cryptozoologists sometimes visit Ohio in hope of one day capturing a frogman.
