Chapter 194: Just a Moment of Stupor

Unlike Decade's battle style, Han Yu was someone who had experienced life-and-death duels. The people who forced him to draw his sword were never weaklings. This gave Han Yu's techniques a sharp, lethal edge that carried an undeniable sense of ruthlessness.

In comparison, the fighting style of the Kamen Riders seemed childish to Han Yu, more like children playing at combat.

With Hyorinmaru in hand, Han Yu was already a master swordsman. Unlike the Kamen Rider who used a sword simply to slash and stab, Han Yu's approach to combat was precise, calculated, and efficient.

Speed, precision, and decisiveness were his three guiding principles when wielding a blade. After all, this was no game—once a weapon was drawn, the battle could easily become a matter of life and death.

"Are you ready?"

Han Yu's card box sword pointed diagonally to the ground as he took slow, deliberate steps toward them. An oppressive aura radiated from his presence, suffocating and heavy.

Though Decade and Diend hadn't yet exchanged blows with Han Yu, both of them instinctively felt a deep respect tinged with unease. They could sense an unprecedented pressure emanating from him.

"Who is this guy? That presence… so strong!"

"He's no weaker than any opponent we've ever faced before. We can't afford to be careless in this fight. If we are, we might actually die!"

After Diend uttered these words, both he and Decade shivered. The oppressive aura from this man, who had suddenly appeared in Decade's form, was suffocatingly terrifying. Anyone standing before him would feel their blood run cold.

"We can't let him make the first move!"

Exchanging glances, Decade and Diend nodded in silent agreement.

Diend raised his handgun, taking aim at Han Yu, intending to provide ranged support.

Decade, meanwhile, raised his wrist and gripped his sword, adopting an aggressive stance for close combat. He planned to lock Han Yu into a drawn-out melee.

But before either of them could make a move, a faint sound, like the whisper of wind, brushed past their ears.

Swish.

They blinked—and in the instant they reopened their eyes, Han Yu was gone.

Moments later, explosions of sparks erupted from their bodies, and both cried out in pain as they were sent flying in opposite directions.

"What just happened? What's going on?"

Clutching his chest in pain, Decade looked behind him in confusion. Han Yu now stood far behind their original positions, a good several dozen meters away. Somehow, in the blink of an eye, he had moved past them entirely.

And it had all been done in Decade's original form, without any enhancement. They hadn't even seen when he made his move!

The faint sound of wind they'd heard earlier was actually the card box sword slicing through their bodies.

"So fast! I've never seen Tsukasa move at this speed before. Impossible! How could he achieve this kind of speed without using additional cards?"

Diend was completely baffled. Normally, such explosive speed would require the use of a special technique card or a Rider card with acceleration capabilities.

Otherwise, such velocity was simply unattainable.

"Hmm, did I overdo it just now? This armor is more effective than I thought," Han Yu quipped, sounding almost amused. "How do you guys usually manage to take half an episode just to beat a single minion?"

From Han Yu's perspective, he had only used a fraction of his power—less than ten percent. This was roughly equivalent to the peak physical capabilities of a top-tier human athlete, the kind who could achieve record-breaking feats.

Even so, it shouldn't have been possible to move like an arrow shot from a bow, covering ground at such blinding speed.

Take the world record set by Usain Bolt, who ran 100 meters in 9.72 seconds. Han Yu had covered a mere 20 to 30 meters—yet it had taken him no longer than a blink of an eye.

If Decade and Diend were the ones trying to achieve such speed, it would be absolutely impossible.

Of course, Decade and Diend couldn't understand Han Yu's sarcastic remarks. Likewise, if someone were to one day stand before Han Yu and tell him his world was just a fictional story, he would probably think they were insane.

"This guy is much stronger than we thought. Looks like we'll have to take this seriously," Diend said gravely. He didn't know why Han Yu had appeared, but the way he had acquired Decade's transformation card and overwhelmed them with his crushing strength was alarming. If they continued to hold back, it would be tantamount to courting death in their eyes.

"Oh? Still want to fight?"

Han Yu noticed the two struggling to their feet, clearly unwilling to give up. Just as he prepared to engage them again, a voice echoed in his mind.

"You have obtained the transformation cards for the primary and secondary Riders of [Kamen Rider Decade]. All Rider cards from this series are now complete. Reward: 4,000 upgrade points!"

The voice of the system caught Han Yu off guard, leaving him momentarily stunned. If not for Diend suddenly firing a shot at him, which he reflexively deflected with his card box sword, he might have remained rooted in place.

"Four thousand upgrade points! Four thousand!" Han Yu muttered to himself, shocked by the sheer magnitude of the reward.

Seeing Han Yu block their attack and then stand still again, Decade and Diend thought they had an opening. They rushed at him together, launching a coordinated assault.

Han Yu instinctively parried their attacks and fought back, exchanging blows with the two Riders in an intense skirmish.

While his body moved fluidly to block and counter, his thoughts were entirely elsewhere, consumed by the system's reward.

"Could it be because Kamen Rider Decade only has two main Riders?" he wondered. Though Decade was often accompanied by another Rider, Kuuga, Kuuga wasn't native to Decade's world. He was from a different universe, with a completely different transformation system.

Decade's unique traits were card-based transformations, multiple forms, and interdimensional travel. Among the Riders most closely associated with Decade, only Diend truly fit the bill.

Thus, Decade and Diend were the primary and secondary Riders of Kamen Rider Decade. Collecting their transformation cards completed the entire series.

Han Yu recalled the long-term mission the system had issued when he first received the transformation belt: "The Power of the Debt King."

The mission description stated that for every third of a Rider series' card set collected, the system would grant generous rewards. Completing a full set would yield rewards beyond imagination.

"Beyond imagination, indeed," Han Yu whispered, exhaling deeply. His voice trembled slightly. He had never expected the reward to be this generous—a whopping 4,000 upgrade points.

Clicking his tongue, Han Yu felt a pang of frustration. If he had realized this earlier, he might have already advanced to a mid-level shopkeeper—or even higher.

Having collected the transformation cards of both Decade and Diend, Han Yu had completed an entire Kamen Rider series card set. The 4,000 upgrade points he received were an enormous amount, far beyond anything he had expected.

Because of this, Han Yu decided not to make things harder for Decade and Diend. Considering how easily they had helped him earn those points, he chose to let them off. With that, he disengaged his transformation.

Finally snapping out of his thoughts, Han Yu turned his attention back to the present and hesitated for a moment.

"Sorry about that. I was zoning out just now. I only just came back to my senses. Uh… what happened to you two?"
