Chapter 196: Thanks to Decade

Han Yu smiled faintly as he folded the handle of the Card Box Gun, flipping it open like a book. From within, he drew a golden card—the Finisher Card.

Sliding the card into the belt's driver, Han Yu closed it. The Decade emblem appeared on the belt, and a radiant light shone from his feet.

With a light leap, Han Yu spun in the air and launched a powerful downward kick.

Rider Kick!

One single strike was all it took to end the sinister Imagin.

Already on the verge of death and unable to flee, the Imagin found himself at Han Yu's mercy. Han Yu deliberately prolonged his suffering, leaving the Imagin so despondent that he nearly cried.

If there were a next life, the Imagin vowed, he would never become one again. The torment was too unbearable.

After finishing off the Imagin, Han Yu stretched his neck and exhaled deeply. Using Kamen Rider abilities was even more satisfying than he'd imagined.

Watching this unfold, Xiaoming and Diend (Kaido) stood frozen, mouths slightly agape, unable to utter a word.

Even Momotaros, usually lively and talkative, was left in stunned silence.

What had they just witnessed?

Han Yu, without transforming, had executed a Rider Kick!

"Did you see that just now?" Kaido asked blankly.

Xiaoming nodded slowly, his expression dazed.

Using a Rider Kick without transformation—was that even possible?

Impossible. The human body couldn't withstand the power enhancements provided by the Kamen Rider system. Even if someone managed to execute such a move, the energy concentrated on their leg alone would destroy them before they could complete the kick.

That's why transformation into a Kamen Rider was necessary—it provided the enhanced form required to handle such moves.

Xiaoming considered himself no ordinary human. After all, normal people didn't casually wave their hands and traverse time and space.

Even so, Xiaoming didn't dare claim he could perform a Rider Kick without transforming. It was simply beyond human limits.

"My entire worldview has been shattered," Xiaoming muttered.

He had traveled across countless Kamen Rider worlds and never encountered anyone capable of using a Rider's ultimate move without transformation. This was a first, and it left him utterly dumbfounded.

Han Yu put away the Card Box and turned to see Xiaoming and Kaido staring at him intently. "Why are you staring at me? Do you want to fight?"

Xiaoming and Kaido exchanged glances before both shook their heads. Xiaoming added, "No. If you have no malicious intent, then there's no need to fight."

From their earlier conversation, Xiaoming deduced that Han Yu didn't seem intent on harming them. However, the fact that Han Yu possessed a Rider belt and could even transform into his likeness was utterly baffling.

Xiaoming had traversed various Kamen Rider worlds, collecting transformation cards, but never had he imagined that someone else could obtain his card and transform into him. It completely upended his understanding of the world.

Since they didn't want to fight, Han Yu didn't press the matter. He wasn't there to pick a fight. If they had fought, it would've been fine—he could've treated it as an opportunity to help Stark gather combat data. But avoiding conflict was just as acceptable, as Han Yu had no real desire to battle them.

Without further discussion, Han Yu walked toward Stark in the distance and asked, "How's the data collection going?"

"Pretty good! When we get back, let me borrow your belt for a while, and I'll dive straight into researching it!"

Stark held a small camera in his hand, containing footage of Han Yu's earlier fight. Although Han Yu had been in a trance for much of the time, his body's subconscious reflexes had kept him engaged in combat.

As a result, Han Yu's fighting style in this battle was much more straightforward compared to his usual flashy, energy-laden methods. This allowed Stark to gather plenty of data on combat techniques that could be used by ordinary people.

If Han Yu were to attack of his own accord, his sheer presence would be enough to overwhelm the opposition.

After all, in the Kamen Rider world, there's no such concept as mental suppression, but Han Yu's mental pressure felt to the others like countless hands gripping their limbs tightly. It was as if an invisible, colossal mountain was pressing down on their chests, making even breathing a struggle.

"That's good then. Shall we return to our world now?" Han Yu asked.

"Let's go! I can't wait to start researching that belt!" Stark replied eagerly.

Their purpose for visiting this world was solely to let Stark observe the Kamen Riders' transformations and combat techniques—nothing more.

Han Yu felt no attachment to linger. Waving the transformation card in his hand at Xiaoming, he smiled and said, "Thanks for your cooperation, Decade."

With that, a teleportation scroll appeared in Han Yu's free hand. With a slight exertion of force, both he and Stark vanished from Xiaoming and the others' sight.

The group rushed over to where they had stood moments ago. The ever-curious Momotaros even stomped on the ground and crouched to touch it before exclaiming, "They're really gone!"

Xiaoming and Kaido both rolled their eyes in exasperation. Of course, they had seen it too—was there really a need to touch the ground? His behavior was downright baffling.

"But who exactly is that guy? And what did he mean by 'their world'?" Kaido asked, puzzled.

Xiaoming responded, "They're not from this world. They're like us—capable of traveling to other worlds. But I'm certain they aren't from any Kamen Rider world we know of!"

Kaido nodded in agreement. Having used Kamen Rider transformation devices themselves, they knew full well that it was impossible for an ordinary person to execute a Rider's finishing move without transforming.

If someone could, then they definitely weren't ordinary!

Unfortunately, whatever mysteries surrounded Han Yu and his companion, they had no chance of uncovering the truth now.

"Here, take my transformation device. What's your estimated time frame for creating mine?" Han Yu handed the Decade Driver to Stark and asked.

"It's hard to say. This thing is beyond my current understanding of how the world works. To fully grasp its mechanisms could take several days. Building the suit itself won't be too difficult, but I'll need time to study the technology behind the cards and the transformation device. There's no telling how many challenges I'll face. I'd estimate two to three months to complete it…"

Stark fiddled with the Decade Driver while speaking, but he soon noticed the unusually quiet atmosphere. Looking up, he found Han Yu staring at him with a surprised expression.

"What's wrong? Too slow?"

"No… It's too fast…"

Han Yu was speechless. He had originally expected the process to take two to four years because this transformation device wasn't from their world. The principles behind it were incredibly complex and difficult to understand.

Starting from scratch, he had considered three or four years to already be a remarkably short time frame—seven or eight years wouldn't have been surprising.

But Stark claimed he could finish it in just a few months. Truly deserving of his reputation as a genius who built over forty Iron Man suits in just a few years. Even Thanos knew of him, famously remarking that Stark wasn't the only one cursed with knowledge.

Wasn't that just a roundabout way of saying he was brilliant?
