Chapter 204: The Incomplete Heart of the Universe

Sam's curiosity was piqued by Bucky's words, but he knew there was no way Han Yu would casually show off his abilities. Even though this was their first meeting, Sam had already witnessed the astonishing healing speed of the Green Lantern ring—something far beyond Earth's technology.

On their way here, Cap had mentioned that their group was merely a subdivision of the larger Green Lantern Corps. If that was the case, then just how terrifyingly powerful was the Supreme Commander of the main Corps?

Despite his curiosity, Sam knew Han Yu wouldn't demonstrate his abilities just for the sake of it. If he put on a display for every new recruit, it would only diminish his presence.

With their discussions wrapped up, the group prepared to leave. They were eager to begin Sam's training as soon as possible, helping him master the Green Lantern ring.

Later, when word of Sam's exploits reached Han Yu, he learned that people had begun referring to him as Falcon. His combat style involved using his Green Lantern ring to materialize a jetpack with wings—something he was already familiar with—and engaging in aerial combat.

Watching this unconventional fighting method, Han Yu found it rather amusing. But then again, not everyone had read wuxia and fantasy novels like he had. Most people naturally relied on what they were already skilled at rather than trying flashy, complex techniques.

"Alright, if there's nothing else, we'll get going. I need to finalize the construction plans for the Green Lantern base. The rings are choosing new recruits way too fast—we can't afford to delay this any longer," Cap said.

"Yeah, make it quick," Han Yu nodded, sending the three of them off.

Once they had left, he turned back to his shop, methodically going through his inventory. He was eager to see how much he had unlocked now that he had leveled up.

"System, use all my upgrade points. Every last one!" Han Yu's eyes gleamed with determination. With four thousand upgrade points, he was confident he could reach the maximum level.

The moment he finished speaking, the shop system responded, immediately pulling up his personal status screen.

He watched as his upgrade points rapidly drained away. The original count of over four thousand plummeted, leaving him with only five points remaining.

"Promotion successful. Total upgrade points consumed: 4000!"

"Congratulations, Host! You now have full access to all features of the shop!"

The system's voice remained calm and neutral, but its words sent a wave of excitement through Han Yu. He had suspected that four thousand points might be enough to reach max level, but now that it was a reality, he couldn't help but feel deeply moved.

Opening his status screen, he saw that his shop rank had changed. There was no longer a distinction between beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels—just one simple title: Shop Owner.

Han Yu let out a long breath as he scrolled through the inventory of his shop. Previously, many of the items had been grayed out, inaccessible to him. But now, they had all regained their original colors.

Now, he could take anything from the shop at will. At this moment, he had truly become the master of this place!

"Upgrade reward obtained: [The Broken Heart of the Universe]!"

The voice of the shop system rang out once again. The next second, Han Yu felt a strange sensation in his heart—not an unpleasant one, but rather an overwhelming surge of power continuously pouring into his body.

Looking down, he saw a faint blue glow emanating from his chest. A limitless stream of cosmic energy flooded his body, and in that instant, he ascended from a Skyfather-level god to a Single-Universe-level being.

There were no dazzling visual effects during the transformation. To Han Yu, the experience felt as simple as missing a step while going downstairs—his body shuddered for a moment, and then it was over.

"So… this is the power of a Single-Universe-level being. It's on an entirely different level from a Skyfather."

Han Yu stared at his palm before slowly closing his eyes. Suddenly, an immense consciousness burst forth from his mind, radiating outward in all directions.

In the blink of an eye, his awareness enveloped the entire Earth. Every movement, every action taken by its inhabitants became crystal clear in his mind.

Even the most highly classified secrets, hidden behind countless layers of security, were now laid bare before him.

He saw many things—things that governments sought to keep hidden from the public, as well as the mysterious creatures lurking in the depths of the ocean, beings that humanity had never encountered. Even a single one of these deep-sea entities could completely shatter people's understanding of the world.

After all, Earth was a planet where over 70% of its surface was covered by oceans. If human civilization could emerge on land, then it was only natural that another civilization could arise in the depths of the sea.

But the oceanic civilization understood that if their existence were ever fully exposed, there would be only one possible outcome: a fight to the death.

They had long grown disheartened by the greed and cruelty of certain humans—especially those in power.

Unwilling to engage in war, the oceanic civilization chose to remain hidden. Their technology was vastly superior to that of the surface world, yet they had no desire to bring harm to the planet. And so, they concealed themselves beneath the waves, living in secret.

As Han Yu's consciousness swept over them, he instantly read their thoughts, learning all of this without the strongest of their leaders ever realizing they had been observed.

After all, his mental awareness now belonged to a Single-Universe-level being—and not just an ordinary one. With just a fragment of the Heart of the Universe, he had already reached this level. If he were to collect the entire heart, he wouldn't just dominate this universe—he would be unstoppable across all universes!

Han Yu withdrew his consciousness, his eyes narrowing slightly as he let out a long exhale. He looked down at his hand, and with a single thought, a streak of blue light emerged from his palm, enveloping his entire hand.

Yet, instead of feeling excitement, he was momentarily stunned.

He had seen this color of light before.

Or rather… he had felt this very same energy before.

"Where? Who had it…?"

Han Yu furrowed his brows. Now that he possessed a fragment of the Heart of the Universe, he could clearly sense its raw power. But at the same time, he couldn't ignore the terrifying consequences that would unfold if this energy were to fall into the hands of an ambitious tyrant.

Suddenly, an image surfaced in his mind—a figure from a recent encounter in Asgard. A being he had fought, severing one of its arms before it managed to escape.

The Sea God!

Back then, that entity had already displayed traces of this same energy!
