Chapter 233: The Great Battle Begins

"But how are we supposed to make them land in Wakanda?" Stark asked.

They were the enemy, after all. Although Han Yu's plan was to keep the battlefield within Wakanda, why would the enemy comply with his wishes and land there? It's not like they were coming for a friendly visit.

"We have something they want. Their entire offensive is aimed at seizing it," Han Yu replied.

"And what would that be?"

"The Infinity Stones. You've encountered them before. When Loki invaded New York, the portal he opened was powered by the Space Stone, one of the Infinity Stones. You also have one yourself—the yellow Mind Stone," Han Yu explained.

Stark nodded in realization. If Han Yu hadn't mentioned it, he might've completely forgotten he even had an Infinity Stone.

He'd been distracted by other matters lately. He'd originally planned to follow Han Yu's blueprints to design Vision, but that had slipped his mind as well.

Now, it seemed Vision was no longer necessary.

With the formation of the Green Lantern Corps, Earth had gained a massive protective shield. Stark's initial intention behind creating Vision was to enhance Earth's self-defense capabilities. But now, it made more sense to hand over the Mind Stone to the Green Lantern Corps. In their hands, it would likely be far more effective than Vision ever could be.

"Then I'll have Ultron retrieve it. I've kept the Mind Stone in…"

Stark explained to Ultron where the Mind Stone was stored. With Ultron's speed, it wouldn't even take ten minutes to fetch it—much faster than if Stark went himself.

Ultron glanced at Han Yu, silently seeking his approval. Han Yu gave a slight nod, and Ultron left to retrieve the Mind Stone.

Meanwhile, Han Yu used his phone to contact Wanda, instructing her to bring the people from the Sanctum Sanctorum, including the Ancient One.

Since the Ancient One was still the Sorcerer Supreme, having her come along meant bringing the Time Stone as well. After all, with everyone heading to Wakanda, it was unlikely she'd leave the Time Stone behind.

With that, Wakanda would hold three Infinity Stones, practically guaranteeing that the enemy would launch their invasion there.

During this time, Han Yu and T'Chaka were busy strategizing troop deployments, with Stark assisting them.

"Dad, what's going on? I heard all the weapons from the armory are being moved out? Some of them are large-scale destructive weapons. You're not planning to attack someone, are you?"

A young Black woman approached them, speaking directly to T'Chaka. Only after addressing him did she notice Han Yu and Stark standing beside him.

"Something has come up…" T'Chaka replied, then turned to Han Yu. "Let me introduce you. This is my daughter, Shuri. She oversees Wakanda's technology. And these are Mr. Han Yu and Mr. Stark."

Seeing two unfamiliar faces in what could be considered a classified Wakandan facility—especially a combination of an American and someone from Kyushu—Shuri's curious eyes fixated on them, sizing them up.

"Hello, Shuri…"

Stark greeted her warmly, intrigued by what T'Chaka had just said. Oversees Wakanda's technology? If that wasn't an exaggeration, then Shuri was truly a genius, possibly rivaling his own intellect.

This piqued Stark's curiosity, prompting him to speak first with gentlemanly charm. But Shuri paid him no mind; her gaze remained locked on Han Yu.

"Hello, I'm Han Yu," Han Yu said calmly, his expression softening slightly—not because Shuri was a woman, but because she fit within the scope of people he was considering recruiting.

Though Shuri was Wakandan and lived in Wakanda, that didn't mean she'd always work there. Right now, she was more like a girl helping with the family business—only, in her case, the family business happened to be on an extraordinary level.

"If we could get her to join the Green Lantern Corps, it wouldn't be a bad idea,"

Han Yu thought to himself, subtly observing the genius girl.

Seeing Shuri's gaze fixed on Han Yu, Stark didn't feel particularly bothered. He sighed inwardly—after all, he wasn't exactly bad-looking, not to mention a billionaire. Even if she wasn't interested in him, outright ignoring him felt a bit much.

But this kind of situation only seemed to happen when he was standing next to Han Yu, especially when the other person was a woman.

After all, Han Yu exuded a natural aura of authority. Even when he deliberately restrained it, he radiated an air of absolute confidence. Paired with his striking appearance, it was no wonder a young woman like Shuri would be drawn to him.

Han Yu and T'Chaka continued their discussion, and T'Chaka decided to deploy Wakanda's tribal warriors.

Though Wakanda never initiated attacks beyond its borders, it had never abandoned its military training. Their technological prowess didn't mean they neglected physical preparedness. After all, without their advanced tech, they could easily fall into a vulnerable position.

Surprisingly, T'Chaka dispatched quite a sizable force. Despite Wakanda being a small nation with a population of only a few hundred thousand, they managed to field around 20,000 highly capable warriors.

Meanwhile, Ultron had his own way of assessing them. A top-tier soldier could gauge another's strengths through a simple handshake, identifying their area of expertise. Ultron, being advanced AI, went even further—analyzing their muscle structure with precision algorithms.

By examining muscle density and development, he could determine their regular training routines, essentially seeing right through them the moment they appeared.

Elsewhere.

Upon receiving Han Yu's message, Wanda immediately went to speak with the Ancient One.

"So, what do you think? Will you go?"

The Ancient One sat calmly, pouring tea with slow, deliberate movements. Her demeanor was serene, completely unaffected by Wanda's urgent words.

"You know my purpose—I exist to guard the Sanctum and protect the Time Stone," the Ancient One replied softly.

"But if Thanos invades, do you really think you'll be able to withstand his attacks with your current strength?" Wanda countered.

Now that Thanos possessed the Heart of the Universe—even in its fractured state—the Ancient One stood no chance against him.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Ancient One was merely a high-level sorcerer, though her title of Sorcerer Supreme made her the pinnacle among Earth's magicians. However, that title wasn't meant to signify superiority over novices alone.

If Wanda were the Sorcerer Supreme, the title would be truly fitting. Her magic was Chaos Magic, rooted in the very fabric of the universe—a power far beyond the conventional spells wielded by Earth's sorcerers.

Just as the Ancient One hesitated, Wanda's expression suddenly shifted. A moment later, the Ancient One sensed it too. Both women stood up simultaneously, their gazes turning toward the sky.

Above them, two massive warships, accompanied by dozens of medium and smaller vessels, emerged from a space-time portal at the edge of Earth's atmosphere.
