Chapter 86
4 years later
Sitting on top of my temple, which had grown quite a bit over the years, I looked at a small town, but nevertheless clearly more developed than any other on this planet.
Takashi did a great job, helping the local population to come to a techno-magical future with his knowledge and skills. Although I gave power only to half of the population, they will be able to do it without me. And on top of that, at the moment, almost everything is based on one time traveler, because in such a short time, he was able to train only a couple of people and even they were far from professional, because they were still inexperienced. And the need to train me also slowed down the progress a little.
What remarkable things have happened during this time? Well, first of all, I finally came of age. Since I was 16, I've experienced a sudden growth spurt. In just 2 years, my height has changed from 154 to 170 cm, and my breasts have grown to a very respectable 3rd size. If I remember correctly, I should now be a whole centimeter taller than Jeanne. I can already imagine their reaction to the phenomenon of "Hermione has changed a lot over the summer", although I'm not Hermione, and they probably haven't seen me for less than a day.
Further interesting, besides the rapid development of our island, almost by Takashi's own efforts, is that he married Saya, and only six months after the apocalypse began, and what's even more surprising is our fat man Kota, who lost a lot of weight and recently married nurse Marikawa and seems to be having a relationship with her close friend Rika Minami. I once had the imprudence to overhear what was happening at their house. In general, the guy is certainly cool, he doesn't seem to be a time traveler, but he has a harem of hot milfs. It's boring to even talk about Rei's wedding with Hisashi, that moment was too obvious, but with Saeko everything was difficult, she said she was straight, but that didn't stop her from seducing me! Several times I was close to giving in and literally raping her. In the end, I decided to ask her what she thought about becoming immortal in the future. The answer disappointed me, she is not against staying young, but she is absolutely sure that she will always be against living too long. I have already decided that I will only have a relationship with someone who will accompany me all the way and I want my first time to be with someone special for me, so I had to turn on the hermit mode, not knowing the word sex and devote more time to training.
Speaking of training, I think I've made a lot of progress. Firstly, by completing daily quests I've reached the intermediate level in wielding two-handed weapons and hand-to-hand combat. Secondly, rune magic, although I haven't yet learned how to use it in combat, I think I'll be able to create my own magic circles for rituals, like the one Takashi gave me, to empower others. I also didn't forget about infinity. I was actively working on learning how to apply it to my arrows when shooting from a bow, as well as in sword strikes, and it turned out to be much more difficult than I initially thought. The arrows were simply destroyed, and sword strikes became completely uncontrollable. It took me about a year to influence infinity more subtly, so as not to destroy the arrows and achieve, in fact, an instant hit on the target and significantly increase the penetrating power. This should help me against overly agile opponents. It took a little less time to adapt to the sword, although when I start trying to do oblique strikes, I turn into a real top, because I literally start spinning by inertia. But with stabbing strikes, everything is fine, I was able to do them almost immediately, although it carries me forward a little. Why does this happen if, when doing such strikes with my body, everything works out quite easily? Here I have only one assumption, most likely the whole thing is that I use infinity on a foreign object. That is, I accelerate the sword, but at the same time I am not accelerated myself, which is why such a strong inertia occurs, and when it is used in a strike, for example, with a fist, then I accelerate myself.
As for the task of this world, I received the purification skill for helping survivors 3 years ago. To be honest, it is difficult to call it a skill, because I received exactly the energy, the essence of which is focused on purification and at the same time it interacts very well with other energies, and the cursed energy turns into something resembling holy energy, in general it is cool, especially considering that with one small splash of such energy you can even cleanse yourself of dirt.
Oh and of course we shouldn't forget about the princess's outfit. I learned to change it to my taste. The crown easily turned into any headdress, and could also merge with hair, making it glow. And the dress easily turned into both shorts and a solid suit of armor. And to be honest, I still don't know everything this dress does. I noticed that dirt seemed to avoid it, I also noticed the obvious indestructibility of this dress. Which makes it quite a cool defense when you turn it into armor. I also noticed some enhancement of my abilities, as it was with the cursed speech, as well as a clearly increased affinity with lightning, which is why at first a welcoming thunder appeared when calling on the outfit. In general, having appreciated the convenience of such universal clothing, I now constantly wore this dress, except changing the look, depending on the situation.
"So you're leaving today?" Takashi Komuro's voice came from behind me.
"Yes," I nodded.
- And Saeko still hasn't changed her mind about going with you?
- You know yourself, even though people have superpowers, they won't accept her sadistic side. And there, in the world of sword and magic, she can become a great adventurer, and let's be honest, she won't find a match in this camp. You would be a possible option, but there's a small problem called Takagi Saya.
- I see. In that case, I'll start preparing the farewell party.
- Hmmmm. Okay, I think leaving without saying goodbye wouldn't be very good. - After thinking for a bit, I finally agreed. - If it's not too much trouble, stop by Saeko's on the way and tell her to pack her things for the trip.
"Okay," the time traveler agreed and jumped off the roof.
- Oz. – I called.
- Yes, my lady? - a raven immediately appeared in a purple flash.
- Let's finish this quest.
- As you say.
Having united with Oz, I took to the skies with my newly acquired wings and flew towards Tokyo. I had killed about eight million zombies in the first month, and combined with the daily 1% increase in my reserve, my reserve had become absurdly huge. I am sure that with enough effort, I could cut an entire island in half like an Electro-Archon, and my reserve, even without infinity, would not be affected, and now I plan to finish it all in one fell swoop.
Standing in the sky above the city, I was in my favorite black dress, and a golden crown was hovering above my head. For the first time in the last couple of years, I allowed my energy to burst out, to use my own explosion of elements. One of the largest cities in the world began to rapidly plunge into darkness, incredibly dense thunderclouds, stretching for thousands of kilometers, this is the result of pouring in just a couple of reserves, although the emphasis was not on strength, but on accuracy and radius of destruction, but looking at this, I felt a thrill in my chest. Trembling from how much power was now in my hands.
"It's time for purification," I said quietly. However, because of the feeling that the world had frozen, these words seemed unnaturally loud, and then the city was illuminated by countless lightning bolts that sought out their undead victims.
Just 2 seconds later, sunlight entered the city again, but in those 2 seconds, over 20 million zombies were destroyed.
"That's the end," I smiled, looking forward to returning home.
