48: Deject

They woke up late in the morning. It was raining; the inn was near a forest the rain droplets bounced off the leaves, the roof, and anything not inside. Sylvia was getting dressed out of her pyjamas, she took a shower, brushed her teeth and walked out of her room.

She walked downstairs to a common room area with multiple chairs and tables, but there were more chairs than tables. There sat Thomas, Rebecca, Jasmine and Lucy they were discussing what they knew. When Sylvia sat down, Jasmine glared at her as Thomas spoke, "The plan is Thomas is being kept at a Warehouse; we don't know how many men guarding the warehouse. But we will capture him alive hopefully."

Sylvia spoke up first, "How will we get past the guards? Are we going to be loud or silent?" Thomas looked at her annoyed, "That's a silly question. You're always trying to take the next step before you take the first one."

Sylvia looked dejected by this. They continued to discuss and deliberate their options. Rebecca spoke up next, "Loud, it's the middle of the day, so people will be loud by nature, so people wouldn't care. Silent, we don't exactly need to be covering our sound due to the loudness."

Lucy spoke, "I feel like Loud would be the best option to get back Ben Voll." Thomas nodded as he looked around the table before Sylvia spoke up, "What if our escape back is filled with the cultists?" Jasmine seemed annoyed and groaned before speaking, "Then we fight them off. Isn't it common sense?"

Sylvia looked angered for a slip second but for the sake of mission, she would ignore the pass made at her. The group soon after had breakfast before they stood up and left; they walked out, the rain bouncing off the puddles. Sylvia looked dejected...
