50: Natty

Obsidian Nexus moved fast, with no seconds wasted; they ran through town like a group of mad men. It was unfair, all this risk and every missed projectile just to lose him in seconds. Not that they actually had him...

"What did the file say?" Nova said as they ran, "It was the temple." It was a surprise where they had been the night prior; suddenly, Nova bumped into a guy; he was big, 5'11 and wide as hell. It was like Nova had slammed into a brick wall.

"The hell?" The guy said as he stumbled back; Nova had seen this guy, but he couldn't place his finger on it. The guy looked at the group as he took note of their masks, "Move it, oaf." Rogue shouted and the guy looked disgusted.

"Who are you talking to like that, your guy bumped into me. You shouldn't slam into someone and insult them. That's disrespectful." Rogue looked pissed that this guy didn't bow down to her at her the sound of her voice. She swung but the guy caught her fist and threw her into Titan. Titan just sidestepped it as Specter's hands started to glow.

"Man, if you try that shit, oh boy! I would not only kill you but I'll get the National champion to come kick your ass too." They were so surprised that he mentioned the National Champion like he knew him personally, "Wait? You know Ben Voll?"

Echo asked as he took a step closer, "Who are you?" The guy laughed as he spoke, "Of course I know Ben, I was better than him!" The guy proudly proclaimed, "Yet he's the National Champion."

The guy scoffed, "Man, I was in the 4th man. It was a disgrace, that Thomas Dale guy, man I was so close to beating him! He used some Forbidden Magic to attack me and I almost died, yet I lost the match because the judge determined that I violated the rule."
