Ma Rui could never have anticipated that someone would emerge out of nowhere to interfere. He cursed Liu Zhe viciously in his heart, even cursing his ancestors, now feeling somewhat stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Seeing the other person stride towards him, Ma Rui couldn't help but step back until he was pressed against the wall with nowhere to retreat. He glanced to the side and saw a metal pipe, which he quickly picked up.
"Kid! Don't you come over here," Ma Rui exclaimed, brandishing the metal pipe. "If you dare come closer, I'll fight you! You don't want us both to get hurt, do you?"
Fang Yi ignored him and continued walking until he was right in front of Ma Rui, who immediately swung the metal pipe at Fang Yi.
Fang Yi caught it with ease.
Ma Rui tried to pull the pipe back, but it felt as though it was clamped by iron pincers. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pull it free, and soon sweat appeared on Ma Rui's forehead.
