Chapter 2: Serve My Son for a Lifetime

Sui City Guardian Mountain Purple Garden Villa District, where each villa is priced in the billions, is inhabited by the wealthy and prestigious.

At this moment, inside one of the villas, Tang Rao's brows are tightly locked, his expression somewhat helpless.

After three days, his body has mostly recovered.

But this Blue Star, what kind of god-forsaken place is this? The spiritual energy between heaven and earth is so depleted it drives one to despair.

Three days, and in three days he has only managed to gather a trace of energy in his Dantian.

This rate is giving Tang Rao an urge to bang his head against the wall—he could be waiting until the cows come home to get his revenge on Mei Fanghua!

"Xiao Rao..." Just as Tang Rao was nursing a headache, there was a knock on the door; from the voice, it should be Bai Yushu.

"Uhm, come in," Tang Rao responded.

Bai Yushu entered carrying a bowl, with steam still rising from it.

"Xiao Rao, mom had someone fetch an old ginseng from the mountain to make you a soup. It's good for your health," Bai Yushu brought the bowl in front of Tang Rao.

A scent wafted into Tang Rao's nose.

His eyes suddenly lit up. Spiritual Energy?

Without thinking, Tang Rao picked up the bowl, sniffed it slightly, and then gulped it down.

A warm stream flowed down his throat to his stomach, and then, trace amounts of spiritual energy were released, spreading through the meridians in his body to all his limbs.

Though it was little, it equaled what Tang Rao would gather in a whole day of energy harnessing.

Soon, the scattered spiritual energy was drawn by Tang Rao into his Dantian, where the energies mingled and flowed, turning one unit of Dantian energy into two.

"Ah, slow down, be careful, it's hot," Bai Yushu instantly remarked when she saw Tang Rao gulp it down in one go.

"Mom, is there any more? Bring it all to me," Tang Rao looked at Bai Yushu. Perhaps influenced by this body, calling Bai Yushu "mom" felt very natural, without any hint of awkwardness.

Hearing Tang Rao's words, Bai Yushu was first stunned, then excitement appeared on her face.

These past few days Xiao Rao had hardly eaten anything, and it worried her a lot.

"There is, there is more! Just wait, I'll bring it all to you," Bai Yushu didn't ponder whether it might be too much for Tang Rao; she simply brought the whole soup pot to him.

Looking at the pot full of black chicken and old ginseng soup, Tang Rao's eyes gleamed green. He grabbed the soup ladle and started slurping eagerly.

Toward the end, he simply picked up the pot and poured it into his mouth.

In three or four minutes, Tang Rao had drank the entire pot of soup.

He even didn't spare the chunks of old ginseng, popping them into his mouth and chewing loudly, a look of utter enjoyment on his face.

"Xiao Rao... are you alright?" Bai Yushu's expression was somewhat horrified, as the whole pot of black chicken and old ginseng soup was devoured by Tang Rao. Could it be too much for him?

"It's fine, it's fine, mom… you go about your business, I need to rest for a while," Tang Rao immediately said.

The old ginseng contained a good amount of spiritual energy, which he needed to assimilate.

Of course, in his heart, Tang Rao also felt a bit regretful; using such good old ginseng to make soup was practically a waste.

If it were made into spiritual medicine, the effects would definitely be much better.

"Okay... okay."

Bai Yushu left the room with the empty pot, her expression a bit strange.

These days, she always felt that there was something off about Xiao Rao.

"It's all because of Jiang Langyue!" Bai Yushu's expression turned instantly, darkening to a chilling degree.

...

"Madam, there is a guest outside." Just as Bai Yushu reached the living room, Mrs. Chen greeted her, speaking respectfully.

Mrs. Chen had been an auntie for the Tang Family for twenty years, known for her honest and meticulous nature.

"Who is it?" Bai Yushu asked casually. These days, she really was not in the mood to meet any visitors.

"They said they've come to apologize, someone called Jiang Langyue," replied Mrs. Chen.

Bai Yushu paused slightly, then her eyes narrowed completely.

Jiang Langyue, you dare to come!

"Mrs. Chen, please let the guest in." Bai Yushu put aside the soup pot in her hand, sat on the sofa, and tried to control her breathing.

Soon, Mrs. Chen led two women into the living room.

Jiang Langhuan and Jiang Langyue, Jiang Langhuan beautiful, Jiang Langyue charming; truly, two rarely seen beauties.

Especially that Jiang Langyue, tall and stunning, even Bai Yushu found her a bit dazzling.

These two sisters, no doubt, had captured the hearts of numerous young masters.

"Aunt Bai..." Upon seeing Bai Yushu in the living room, Jiang Langhuan called out, sounding somewhat feeble.

"Oh, it's Lang Huan. Why so formal in calling me Aunt? You are to be my Tang family's future daughter-in-law; it would be more appropriate to call me Mom," Bai Yushu said, eyeing Jiang Langhuan, her voice carrying a mocking tone.

Jiang Langhuan's face turned pale instantly, her hands continuously rubbing together, looking indecisive.

"Bai Yushu, let's be frank here. You know what your son is like. Don't even think about marrying Lang Huan. Moreover, he has now even lost his reproductive function, let's cancel this marriage. As for compensation, our Jiang Family will make sure you are satisfied," Jiang Langyue stepped forward and spoke to Bai Yushu.

Arrogant, haughty, disdainful—none of these feels like an apology.

Jiang Langyue and Jiang Langhuan were two extremes; although Jiang Langhuan was the older sister, her character was gentle and weak, whereas Jiang Langyue was truly fiery.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have shattered Tang Rao's foundation with one kick.

Hearing Jiang Langyue's words, Bai Yushu struggled to suppress the rage in her heart, gripping the sofa armrest tightly.

"Jiang Langyue, is this the attitude of your Jiang Family?" Bai Yushu's eyes blazed as she glared fiercely at Jiang Langyue.

"This is my attitude," Jiang Langyue snorted, "I didn't expect your son to be such a scum, disabled by a single kick. But it's his fault, if he hadn't made improper moves on Lang Huan, it wouldn't have come to this. Now, since it has happened, let's solve it, I, Jiang Langyue, am not someone who shirks her responsibilities."

"Fine, since you want to bear the consequences, my request is not much." Bai Yushu suddenly sneered.

"Say it," Jiang Langyue maintained her pride.

Bai Yushu stood up from the sofa, pointing her finger at Jiang Langhuan and Jiang Langyue: "The two of you, serve Tang Rao for a lifetime."

"Bullshit!" Jiang Langyue immediately yelled out, serve that scum Tang Rao for a lifetime, could Bai Yushu be any more delusional?

"If you don't agree, then I'm sorry. I know your Jiang Family is powerful, but I, Bai Yushu, my Bai Clan, are not to be bullied!" Bai Yushu slammed her palm on the table, her eyes fierce.

Jiang Langyue fell silent; their grandfather had already warned them when they left: Tang Renwang is not to be feared, be wary of Bai Yushu.

Clearly, the power behind Bai Yushu was something even their Jiang Family had to take seriously.

"Your demand is unrealistic, name something feasible," Jiang Langyue frowned and spoke. She was no longer blindly forceful; she had a fiery temper, not stupidity.

With Bai Yushu having laid her cards on the table, if she continued to be tough, this matter truly wouldn't be resolved.

None of them noticed that, at that moment, on the second floor, Tang Rao's cold eyes were watching everything downstairs.
