After about ten minutes, Allen Zhang followed Simone to the Indian restaurant where she works on a regular day.
The store had officially opened for business, and the Indians inside had started bustling about.
The dining area wasn't large, only a bit over twenty square meters. It was utterly inconspicuous on the streets of Los Angeles, tucked away in a secluded spot with average cleanliness, with homeless tents on the next street and few customers stopping by, largely frequented by Indian students and Indian immigrants.
"To be honest, I suspect the real reason the restaurant owner hired you was to take advantage of you," said Allen Zhang with a complaint.
"Who cares, after today, I don't want to see anything to do with this restaurant ever again!"
Simone showed utter disdain, "I'm planning to quit this job!!"
"What are you planning to do afterwards?" asked Allen Zhang.
