Chapter 51: New Intelligence

A group of people had been sent away.

David and Gate also left the camp, they had long been accustomed to the homeless life of wandering on the streets, knowing many a place to sleep, bathe, and eat. Joining the Beggar Gang was merely seen as fun, a way to find something serious to do.

According to Dominic, even without the subsidy and shopping voucher, these two lived much better than most homeless.

Because they often scoped out ordinary communities, they were acutely aware of every household's comings and goings. If someone was away for a prolonged period or had left a message about being out of town, they'd just pick up their bags and move in, enjoying a life with a house and a bed for a while.

When the homeowner returned, they'd clean up and leave in advance, moving on to squat in another house, generally refraining from stealing or causing damage.

They were very practiced at this.

They even knew the placement of items in the houses better than the owners themselves.
