[Beef buns: Can effectively replenish physical strength, enhance fitness, and are safe to eat.]
Hungry Tain Lin looked at the cow dung in front of him and couldn't help but fall into contemplation.
Is this cow dung or a beef bun?
To eat, or not to eat? This is a question.
How would you feel if your life was forever on reverse day? It's not exactly that, but that's what it feels like to me lol MC transmigrates into the body of Tian Lin and somehow unlocks a misinformation-type golden finger. This story is the concept of "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." It's definitely a unique cultivation story, with a very interesting information-type system. Quite enjoyable in its own way.
The main character and the story are more interesting than most cultivation novels. What I enjoy the most is that we are not spoon fed everything that's going on and we have to pay attention to understand the character's actions. The beginning, with gangs of bandits and beggars who roam the landscape looking for a chance to learn to cultivate while killing and abusing the common folk, sets the tone for the rest of the story. I'm 29 chapters in at the time of this review. The translation is not terrible but there are mistakes in names and punctuation almost evey chapter.
I've caught up with source and read upto around 410chapters, it's a good novel, still keeping me hooked
Amazing story, a unique plot that just keeps you wanting more. It’s a bit different than the typical cultivation novels but it’s such a great way to progress the story. Amazing world building and even greater amount of details put into the characters. Absolutely love it.
interesting cheat idea and general story direction overall. thing is, despite speaking, reading and writing english daily since 15 years i have trouble following what the hell is going on - its not issue of bad translation, since this is multiple levels above mtl, but in case of this novel i often forget who is who and how did we get where we are, in span of 10 lines of text.
An interesting variation on an otherwise traditional slow-paced xianxia. The information-recognition bit seems to exist to justify an untalented cultivator managing to eventually surpass all of the more talented ones, and doesn't come off as a cheat or detract from the story. The chapters are quite long compared to other novels on this site which is nice, and while the translation isn't perfect, its usually just minor changes to names, and not enough to find off-putting. Overall one of my favorite novels.
its simply a bad story. good concept for cheat but terrible execution.
