Chapter 47: Checking for Omissions and Filling Gaps

"Washbasin, squat toilet, bathtub, stove... Tsk... There's even a fireplace."

Ronan stood in the center of the room, surveying his new home, curiously sticking his head into the dusty, cobweb-filled fireplace to take a closer look.

"Winter is coming soon; it will come in handy then."

Ronan sat down at the only table in the room, casually picking up the old copper kettle on it and giving it a shake before putting it back down.

All in all, Ronan was quite satisfied with his "new home."

The room wasn't big, but it was more spacious than the treehouse he used to live in, and although the furniture was old, it had everything that was needed.

An important point was that there was a toilet in the house, so he would never have to empty the urine bucket again.

Finding such a livable house on Water Drop Street, known as the "Slums" of the town, wasn't easy.
