Chapter 1: Getting Pregnant from a Dream

"Absolutely unbelievable!

I just had an indescribable dream in the movie theater, how could I possibly be pregnant?!"

Emily Parker was dumbstruck when she received the electronic medical report—a single girl getting pregnant from a dream?!

Four weeks… four weeks? Emily Parker was startled.

Four weeks ago, it was Valentine's Day. That day, her best friend gave her two tickets, urging her to invite her secret crush to a private movie theater.

But the other party never showed up, and she waited so long that she fell asleep and had that indescribable "maiden dream."

In the dream, a man's nose was rubbing against her back, his sweat dripping onto her skin, scorching like fire, everything was crazy and intense.

The dream was too real; so real that when Emily Parker came out of the movie theater, her back and legs were weak, and she felt utterly drained.

But dreams leave no trace; afterwards, she forgot about it, thinking her period was just irregular this time…

And now she turns out to be pregnant? Could the man in the dream also be real?

"It was me."

A man suddenly sat opposite her, his cold, arrogant voice interrupting Emily Parker's thoughts, causing her to blank out before she realized she was in a cafe on a blind date.

"I'm Carlos," before Emily Parker could gather herself, the devastatingly handsome man slowly spoke, "your blind date."

Emily Parker then remembered that she was here for a blind date. She quickly calmed herself down, looking up at the man across from her, just about to speak, but her expression suddenly froze!

This person! This build! How could it be so much like the man in the dream?!

That night, the dream was blurred and chaotic, the lighting in the theater was dim, and she couldn't see the man's face clearly.

But Emily Parker studied medicine, and her eyes were like rulers.

This body proportion, and those strong, muscular waist, almost exactly the same as that man's that night?!

"Have you looked enough?" Carlos, seeing Emily Parker staring blankly, couldn't help but frown: "Are you Sophie Parker?"

The displeased tone jolted Emily Parker back to reality, apologetically she said: "Ah, no, I'm Emily Parker, Sophie Parker's elder sister."

This blind date was actually originally arranged for her sister Sophie, but for some inexplicable reason, she changed her mind and refused to come. Their father, not wanting to offend the other party, pushed it onto her.

It has always been this way since they were kids; whatever her sister didn't want would then fall to her.

"It doesn't matter," Carlos seemed indifferent, "sister or not, I'm not interested in either, no one compares to my moonlight."

As Carlos spoke, his eyes softened a lot, his moonlight, so slender and beautiful, as clean as a white sheet of paper, instantly captivated his heart.

In a blink, the softness in his eyes disappeared, Carlos looked at Emily Parker, smirked coldly, his attitude extremely bad:

"So Miss Parker, now, please move your eyeballs off me, I have no interest in such mediocrity."

Emily Parker even laughed speechlessly, confirming two things on the spot—

First, if this guy was infatuated with someone else, he couldn't possibly be the man from that night.

Second, she really hated this guy!

No wonder, she thought, with such an excellent background and good looks, her precious sister actually let her take her place.

"Well, that's good then," Emily Parker spoke indifferently, "I wasn't interested in Young Master Carter either, so today's blind date is quite saving of trouble."

Hearing this, Carlos snorted coldly: "Liar! Playing hard to get, isn't that a bit too low-level?"

This woman's eyes were practically glued to him just now, and she has the nerve to say she doesn't like him?

From childhood, there wasn't a woman who didn't like him!

Already annoyed because of the inexplicable pregnancy, and now with Carlos's attitude, Emily Parker immediately felt irritated and disgusted, pulling out her WeChat QR code: "I'll pay for the coffee, add me on WeChat, and send the money to me!"

She'd rather throw her money away than spend a penny on this jerk!

Carlos laughed in frustration, this woman! Just say she wants his WeChat, why pretend?

"Liar playing hard to get, utterly disgusting, dreaming of adding me on WeChat!"

Carlos scoffed, then turned and left, while Emily Parker angrily slammed her phone on the table.

Neither of them saw, around the corner of the cafe outside, Sophie Parker was smugly watching the whole scene.

Seeing the two part unhappily, she sinisterly curled her lips:

"My dear sister, actually Carlos' mother initially wanted you as her daughter-in-law, this blind date was supposed to be yours."

"In my dreams, I thought Carlos was something special, taking your blind date, marrying this rich second generation."

"Turns out this useless man already had someone else in his heart, leaving me to live a lonely life, ultimately suffering from depression, swallowing pills and committing suicide."

"Yet you married your secret crush, soaring to success, living happily ever after. Why?!"

"This lifetime, I must crush you beneath me! This useless Carlos, I'll still leave him to you; your perfect secret crush, ha, is mine now."

Sophie Parker triumphantly took one last look at the café, then turned and left.

Emily Parker, oh Emily Parker, you and Carlos are already so displeased from just a blind date, just wait for the suffering after marriage!

This lifetime, I will take away your secret crush and smile as you endure a disgraceful life.

Sophie Parker smiled as she walked away, not knowing that a few minutes after she left, as Emily Parker sat dazed, full of worries about her premarital pregnancy and unknown father, Carlos, with a stern face, actually returned to the cafe?!

Looking awkward, he stood in front of Emily Parker: "Uh… cough…I was wrong just now…"

Emily Parker was completely dumbfounded: "Huh?"
