Madeline Woods looked at Ann with a face full of concern, "Are you okay, baby?"
Ann shook her head and didn't speak.
Emmy, who had never seen Madeline Woods before, curiously spoke up, "Hello pretty auntie, are you Ann's mom?"
Madeline Woods turned her head and, upon seeing Emmy, opened her mouth wide, "Ivy, this, this one is practically a spitting image of you! Perfectly inherited all your strengths."
Emmy stood there puzzled, with a big question mark on her face, and turned to look at Ivy River.
"Call her Auntie Madeline. She's Mommy's good friend."
Ivy River explained.
Fatty and Emmy spoke in unison, "Hello, Auntie!"
Madeline Woods smiled and ruffled Emmy's little head, "These two cuties are so adorable, don't call me auntie, you should call me godmother."
"Now is not the time for nostalgia."
Ivy River checked Ann's hair, only a small strand was cut off.
"Teacher, our Ann won't accept an apology, and we don't need Ava Sutton to apologize to us."
