Daniel Smith glanced at her without responding, instead casting an expectant gaze towards Ivy River.
He had retired from Medical University, renowned in orthopedics as the "Hand of Orthopedics."
He never admired anyone, and none of his surgeries had ever failed.
Now re-employed by the Medical University, he occasionally held consultations to help solve complex orthopedic cases.
It was nearly impossible to get an appointment with him.
But why was he now seeking out Ivy River!
Evelyn King was utterly baffled.
Ivy River glanced casually, "Who are you?"
"Oh dear, look at my memory, too eager to learn that I forgot to introduce myself."
Daniel Smith spoke with embarrassment, "I'm Dr. Daniel Smith from Orthopedics, now retired, and studying traditional Chinese medicine at home. Ah, Chinese medicine is truly profound. It's been almost a year, and I'm still a novice."
Ivy River's voice was indifferent, "How did you learn about me?"
