Not terrible but not great. The constant ability to hide their level allows the mc to constantly play the pig to catch the tiger. This makes the fights devolve into one sided bullying. This removes any sense of tension or interest. If it had more of a comedy vibe that would be ok but the author is trying to keep it serious so the tone just doesn’t work.
Worth the read at this time at 50 chapters just need more chapters and fast😤
The MC isn’t nerfed and his progress in cultivating is gradual which is a major positive in my books! The translation is good and the story progresses nicely without too much lag and filler

honestly its meh . at the start it was good but the idea of the mc always hiding his powers like fore er and always appearing the weakest is boring . i get it when it was at the start bec he was still weak but now that he is the strongest in the sect and literally saved the strongest person in the sect multiple times he is still using a black cloak to hide and everyone thinks he is strong. whats the point . the story doesn't have any romance or comedy . just boring cultivation without good fights
the inconsistent names and genders have eaten away my joy for this book also their was this treasure map that caused a big stink in the beginning of the book that's been all but forgotten about a shame really
good story and great World development also MC is not overly powered
