"Come on Jing Ya, I'll pull you up first."
Su Ge walked to the poolside, affectionately reaching out her hand to Bai Jingya.
Bai Jingya glanced at her displeasedly and reached out her hand.
With a splash, Bai Jingya stood on the shore, the water flowing down her beautiful curves.
As soon as she was ashore, Bai Jingya roughly shook off Su Ge's hand.
Just as Su Ge was about to offer some words of comfort, Bai Jingya suddenly looked past her, her whole demeanor softening, her eyes shy and timid, blinking coquettishly.
"Jing Ya, did the cold make your eyes twitch?"
Su Ge looked at her curiously.
Bai Jingya glared at her and didn't say a word, attempting to seduce as she looked behind Su Ge, gently running her fingers through her wet hair.
Her white dress clung tightly to her body, flaunting her impressive curves and with the hair-tossing, she was both sensual and provocative.
It was then Su Ge realized something was amiss, turned around, and got a shock.
"Chu Yihan? When did you get here!" Su Ge seemed to react instinctively by spreading her arms in front of Bai Jingya before yelling at Chu Yihan, "Don't you know it's rude to stare? You this..."
Su Ge intended to call him a lecherous scoundrel, a term she frequently used in the past, but now she just couldn't bring herself to say it.
Blocked by Su Ge from displaying her proud curves, Bai Jingya's face turned rather blue.
Chu Yihan had come after hearing someone had fallen into the water. His dark eyes swept over Su Ge, and seeing she was alright, he said nothing. After giving Su Ge a deep look, he silently turned and left.
His loner and erect silhouette looked like an untouchable deity in Bai Jingya's eyes.
She looked at Su Ge incredulously, "Do you always talk to Chu Yihan like that?"
Chu Yihan, the Chairman of the world's First Financial Group, the Fourth Master from the centuries-old Chu Family in Rong City; and Su Ge dares to order him around like some thing—what is she?
And he isn't even angry?
"Yeah, Chu Yihan is so annoying. If I don't talk to him like that, how should I talk to him?"
Su Ge tugged at the corners of her mouth with a hypocritically friendly smile while looking at Bai Jingya.
This damn Bai Lianhua, flirting with her husband right in front of her—how had she never noticed it before?
Was it because she used to despise Chu Yihan so much that she failed to see Bai Jingya had actually tried to seduce him?
"Xiao Ge, you're doing the right thing. With someone like Chu Yihan, you simply can't submit to his lewdness. The more you submit, the worse off you'll be."
Bai Jingya patted Su Ge's shoulder with apparent approval.
Su Ge smiled and pulled away her hand, "Does it no longer itch?"
Bai Jingya refused to drink the specially brewed antidote by Su Ge.
Even the servants of the Chu family kept their distance.
The bitterness could be smelled even from a floor away.
Chu Yihan was in his study dealing with documents, Ling Feng covering his nose, looking everywhere for a fan, "Fourth Master, just bear with it for a while, I'll find something to fan away the smell; it won't be so pungent."
Chu Yihan was signing his name when his fingers, well-defined, suddenly paused, and he lifted his cold eyes, "What are they doing downstairs?"
Ling Feng had folded a makeshift fan out of discarded A4 paper and was fanning it at Chu Yihan while covering his nose, speaking in a sarcastic tone, "Miss Bai fell into the water, so the Lady is probably worried she caught a cold, making a special effort to brew her some medicine."
That's the medicine, it's damn bitter.
Can that Ms. Bai even stomach it?
Chu Yihan's dark eyes deepened but didn't ask any more questions.
