Henry hung up the phone, and suddenly James fell to his knees, sobbing.

"Rachel, I'm so sorry! I was so wrong! I shouldn't have believed Lily's lies, thinking you had hurt William, and then locking you in the cellar!"

"Rachel, please forgive me! I truly know I was wrong!"

At that moment, a servant approached, holding the box in his hands, his voice trembling as he said, "Young master, this is... this is the young mistress's ashes."

"No! This can't be! Rachel can't be dead! She wouldn't leave us!" James suddenly shouted, overcome with emotion.

He snatched the box from the servant's hands, clutching it tightly to his chest, as if doing so could keep me with him.

"Young master, please accept our condolences. These are the young mistress's ashes. We saw her burn to death with our own eyes," the servant said in a low voice, trying to console him.

"No! I don't believe it! I want a DNA test! I need to be sure this is Rachel!" James suddenly stood up, his eyes wide as he shouted.
