The Unsung Heroes of Chernobyl

This work chronicles the untold stories of the unsung heroes of Chernobyl, focusing on the efforts of the firefighters, plant workers, and particularly the liquidators—the thousands of men and women who risked their lives to contain the aftermath of the catastrophic nuclear disaster that struck Reactor No. 4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant on April 26, 1986.
