Van, who had taken up the push-up position, immediately began without hesitation.
As Van performed his push-ups, the soldiers practicing nearby lost focus and turned their attention to him.
"Is it true that all noble families have monsters in them? Even a 4-year-old child is already training physically."
"My 4-year-old just plays and cries, but a noble child is already training."
The whispers of the soldiers did not sway Van's focus, and he continued with his training.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
A man's roar echoed through the front yard of the Black family mansion.
Hearing the shout, the soldiers immediately snapped to attention and resumed their training.
"Run! Sir Gawain is angry!"
Among the crowd, a middle-aged soldier stood out, radiating incredible authority, with a slash mark across his left eye.
"Tch, just watching a child train is enough to break their focus. I guess I'll need to be a little harder on them." Gawain said.
Watching Van train caused Gawain to feel a bit of pressure. He then looked at the soldiers, still sluggish in their training, and the frustration in his heart grew.
"YOU! LOOK! EVEN A CHILD IS TRAINING HARD. ARE YOU NOT ASHAMED TO BE OUTDONE BY A CHILD? LUNCH IS DELAYED UNTIL EVENING!" Gawain yelled.
Hearing Gawain's shout, the soldiers' expressions soured. However, none dared protest and continued their training.
Meanwhile, Van pushed himself through his routine, taking breaks between sets of push-ups.
At this point, his physical abilities were still only slightly better than a child's.
After an hour, Van finally finished his 1,000 push-ups.
He sat down on the ground, wiping the sweat off his face.
'My hands feel like they're burning.' Van thought, watching his hands tremble uncontrollably.
After resting for a few minutes, Van continued his training, moving into the sit-up position.
From a distance, the soldiers, including Gawain, stood frozen, watching Van.
1,000 push-ups were already an impressive feat for most adults, let alone a child under ten.
"What kind of monster is born into the Black family?" Gawain muttered.
After several hours, Van finally finished all the exercises from the System's mission.

By this point, only a few soldiers remained in the yard. Most had collapsed from exhaustion or were off on other duties.
"Is this child's stamina unlimited? How can he do that at his age?"
"This family is really a family of monsters. No wonder they rank first among the seven great families."
After resting for a bit, Van finally stood up and began running.
Seeing him rise, the soldiers assumed he had finished, but their expressions shifted when they saw his small figure, just a meter tall, beginning to run.
"..."
Van ran around the mansion, under the watchful eyes of everyone.
Though nearly everyone in the mansion disliked Van, they still had to keep an eye on him.
Who knew what might happen if the young master suddenly disappeared from the mansion?

"Van has been exercising since morning? 1,000 push-ups? 1,000 sit-ups and other intense exercises?" Van's father asked, incredulously.
"Yes, sir." Sebastian answered, his face showing a hint of shock.
"HAHAHAHA! Seems like there's another monster in the Black family," Van's father laughed.
"Are you sure you don't want to stop him? Intense exercises like that could hurt his body," Sebastian suggested.
"No need. Don't ruin his high expectations for now," Van's father replied.
"Understood, sir." Sebastian said.
"My older brother will definitely like Van. After all, they're both maniacs." Van's father remarked.
"You mean Sir Wilbert?" Sebastian asked.
"Yes. He's a battle maniac. I'm sure he'll get along well with Van. By the way, where is he now?" Van's father inquired.
"Sir Wilbert is still in isolation at the [Death Forest]." Sebastian responded.
"I see," Van's father said.

Van, having finished his run, lay down on the yard, uncaring of the dirt. Panting heavily, Van could hear the System's voice in his mind.
After a while, Van felt a change in his body.
The fatigue, soreness, and pain from the intense exercise all disappeared in an instant.
"So this is what [System] can do," Van thought.
He then stood up and walked back toward the mansion.
Although his physical exhaustion was gone, his mental fatigue remained.
Van entered his room and headed straight for the bathroom.
Without hesitation, Van submerged himself in the warm water pool.
"Status." Van murmured.

Once done with his bath, Van immediately fell asleep.
After all, mental exhaustion could only be recovered through sleep.
