Chapter 27 : [The Festival of Avalon] IV

Arthur, who blocked Rock's punch, was thrown far back without being able to hold on for even a second.

'Just one punch was so painful. Job [Fighter] really has terrifying physical strength,' Arthur thought.

Arthur quickly stabilized himself in midair and landed on the ground, then wiped the blood from the corner of his lip.

Arthur, who had just landed, was forced to take a defensive position again because Rock had already appeared in front of him with his right fist clenched.

Arthur's gaze was focused on Rock's fist, but Arthur realized something was wrong when he saw the smile on Rock's face.

Rock suddenly stomped on the arena, causing the cracks to become even worse. In addition, the arena shook violently due to Rock's immense power.

The vibration caused Arthur to lose his balance. Rock took advantage of the opportunity, his right hand grabbed Arthur's head, and his left hand punched him in the stomach.

Rock's painful punch made Arthur widen his eyes and spit out a mouthful of fresh red blood.

Rock then loosened his grip. Arthur, who had lost his strength, immediately fell and lay limp.

"WOAAA!"

"GREAT!"

"ROCK'S PHYSICAL STRENGTH IS REALLY AMAZING!"

Several [Colosseum] staffs entered and carried away Arthur.

As they left the arena, the [Colosseum] staffs were confronted by Van. Behind Van were Oliver and Olivia.

"I'll handle this," Van said. From behind his shadow, a 2-meter-tall slime emerged.

The [Colosseum] staffs looked at each other in fear when they saw the giant slime and nodded quickly. They then laid Arthur on the slime.

'Seriously? You're putting a 10-year-old injured kid on a monster?' Arthur thought with a wry smile.

"Impressive, you can still smile in a situation like this," Van said flatly.

"A wound like this isn't a problem for me," Arthur replied, grinning widely.

Van then looked at Olivia and said, "Heal him."

"Okay," Olivia replied and approached Arthur.

Van then grabbed Oliver and dragged him away.

"Let me go, you bastard brother! Where are you taking me?" Oliver yelled as he struggled.

"You're a child of the Black family. So, you have to register at the [Colosseum]," Van said flatly.

"Huh? Register? I'm still underage! Besides, registration is closed, isn't it?" Oliver yelled, trying to escape.

"No rule will matter in the face of money," Van said as he continued to drag Oliver.

After dragging Oliver for quite some time, Van finally arrived at a fairly large hall.

Van unceremoniously threw Oliver into the room and said, "Consider this your training."

Oliver then got up and looked around. He saw hundreds of people who were also looking back at him.

'Scary!' Oliver thought, swallowing hard.

Someone 2 meters tall then approached Oliver and said, "What are you doing, kid? This place isn't for kids like you."

"Hey, don't bother advising him. What if we just finish him off here?" said someone with a pale face as he licked his dagger.

'I'LL KILL THAT GUY ONE DAY!' Oliver thought, remembering Van's face in his mind.

Van and Olivia finally returned to the VVIP room, while Arthur stood near the door as usual.

"Great performance," Sebastian said to Arthur.

"Thank you," Arthur replied with a wide smile.

Seeing the two return without Oliver, Grandfather was momentarily puzzled and asked, "Where's Oliver?"

Van then pointed to the arena and said, "There he is."

Grandfather, Olivia, and everyone in the VVIP room immediately turned to the arena. They saw Oliver entering the arena, trembling.

Grandfather's eyes almost popped out of their sockets, while Olivia's face turned pale. She stared at Van as if looking at a monster.

"It's such a pity to have a brother like that," Sebastian said, looking at Oliver with pity.

"Hehehe, he's going to die," Arthur said as if he had already predicted Oliver's fate.

After Oliver, a young man with a magic wand also climbed onto the battle arena.

Oliver swallowed hard when he saw his opponent was a skinny young man in front of him. Cold sweat drenched his back.

His [True Eye] saw a very evil black aura emanating from the skinny young man's body.

[True Eye: Eyes from the Aurelius family bloodline. Eyes that can see the truth of the world]

'What is that? So terrifying,' Oliver thought.

'That young man makes me feel bad,' Van thought when he saw the skinny young man who climbed onto the arena. 'I hope it's just my feeling.'

- - - - -

A barrier finally enveloped the arena, signaling that the battle could begin.

Oliver then drew his sword and ran towards the young man.

Seeing Oliver running towards him, the young man tapped the arena floor with his magic wand.

A five-meter-high earthen wall appeared between Oliver and the young man.

"What the?" Oliver muttered in surprise.

Oliver then ran to the side of the wall intending to surprise the young man.

However, what greeted him was a basketball-sized fireball.

"WOAH!" Oliver shouted in surprise. Luckily, Oliver managed to hide behind the wall.

*BOOM

Seeing the fireball explode right next to him, Oliver swallowed hard. His face showed an expression of fear.

*CRACK

Oliver turned around and saw the earthen wall protecting him slowly crack.

Van then jumped away and managed to avoid the chunks of collapsing earthen wall.

As a result of the collapsed earthen wall, dust slowly covered the arena.

'What next? Where will he attack? What is his attack? He seems to be a dual-attribute magician,' Oliver thought as he looked around.

Oliver turned around and saw something shining in the smoky dust. Oliver then narrowed his eyes and felt the bright spots getting bigger.

After a while, Oliver finally realized what those bright spots were.

'Damn!' Oliver cursed as he jumped to the side.

A fireball flew past him and exploded.

*BOOM

The explosion sent him flying several steps back.

Finally, the dust around slowly disappeared, revealing the situation in the arena.

"WOAHHH!"

The audience's screams echoed throughout the [Colosseum] as they saw what the skinny young man was doing.

In the arena, dozens of fireballs floated in the air, emitting a scorching hot aura.

'I'm dead,' Oliver thought, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

One fireball shot towards Oliver, but Oliver managed to dodge it.

*BOOM

The skinny young man frowned when he saw Oliver manage to avoid his sudden attack.

"If one isn't enough to catch a rat, then try three," the skinny young man muttered.

Three fireballs immediately attacked Oliver who was still stabilizing his balance. Oliver then did a backflip and managed to avoid all three fireballs.

*BOOM

*BOOM

*BOOM

However, the three fireballs produced a powerful enough explosion. Oliver, who was small, was right next to the explosion, causing him to be thrown quite far.

"Tch. Annoying," the skinny young man muttered when he saw Oliver manage to avoid his attack for the second time. "Just die then."

Dozens of fireballs that were still in the air suddenly moved and shot towards Oliver who was lying on the ground.

- - - - -

The skinny young man's actions surprised the audience.

"Hey, he's going to die if he gets hit by that!"

"I can't bear to watch it."

"It's such a pity to die at such a young age."

Grandfather, Olivia, Sebastian, and even Arthur were also surprised by the skinny young man's actions.

Olivia turned pale at the thought of Oliver's next fate.

"Damn it," Grandfather said with cold eyes and intended to rush to the arena.

*WHOOSH

A terrible pressure enveloped the VVIP room, creating a chilling atmosphere with the air temperature feeling like it had dropped a few degrees.

Grandfather, Olivia, and everyone turned to Van. Although Van's expression was still as flat as ever, the aura he emitted was terrifying.

'That damn person! I'll cut him into pieces and make him my [Shadow]'s food,' Van thought angrily. His bright red eyes stared at the arena.

- - - - -

"DIE!" the young man shouted.

Dozens of fireballs moved quickly towards Oliver who was still lying helplessly. His eyes showed flashes of fear and resignation.
