The bar was crowded, but there was something comforting about the hum of voices and clinking glasses that surrounded them. Haru had insisted on coming here with Kei and Aoi after college, a request that had both of them raising an eyebrow.
"What's going on, Haru?" Kei asked, taking a casual sip from his beer. "You've been acting weird all week."
Haru shifted in his seat, glancing at Aoi and then back at Kei. "It's... about Sakura."
Kei's eyes gleamed with sudden understanding. "Figures."
Aoi, who had been half-heartedly listening to the conversation, raised an eyebrow. "Who's Sakura?"
Haru froze. Aoi's voice snapped him out of his thoughts, and his mind briefly flashed back to the day he'd denied having any feelings for a girl. He had said there was nothing—nothing about a girl, nothing about Sakura. But now...
"Sakura," Haru said quietly, his voice faltering slightly. "She's... someone I've been thinking about."
Kei's grin widened mischievously. "Oh? I've got just the thing." He pulled out his phone, swiping through it to find the video he had taken earlier. "Here's a gem of Haru trying to "experiment" with Sakura. Watch how red he gets trying to make her say yes to anything."
Haru's heart sank. "Kei, I told you to delete that!"
"Comedy gold," Kei said, barely holding back his laughter as he hit play. The video came to life, showing Haru stammering, his face flushed, trying to get Sakura to answer yes to whatever ridiculous question he threw at her.
Aoi burst into laughter. "Oh my god, Haru! You ran away in the middle of it!"
Haru glared at him, the heat in his face intensifying. "Shut up, Aoi!"
Kei smirked. "And you thought you could hide it. Look at that face of yours, dude. She's got you whipped."
Haru was about to snap back, but Aoi raised a hand, dramatically shifting into a mock-serious tone. "I can't believe you told your friend about your crush... but not your big brother."
Kei laughed. "Actually, I figured it out after watching this video."
The two of them started laughing harder, and Haru felt the weight of their teasing hit him. He had trusted them, but now he was second-guessing everything. "I called you two here because I need advice," Haru said, his tone shifting to something a bit more serious.
Kei wiped a tear from his eye, still grinning. "Advice? About what? Your crush on Sakura?"
Haru gave him a look. "Yeah, about that. Please just listen."
Aoi, his smile slowly fading, leaned forward with a more serious expression. "We're listening," he said, though the corners of his mouth still twitched with suppressed amusement.
Haru sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair. "I can't stop thinking about her. Lately, it's... not just thinking. I've been having these thoughts—the kind I don't know how to deal with."
Aoi's eyes widened, but his voice dropped into a mock-serious tone. "It's your libido."
Kei, hearing this, burst out laughing. Haru's frustration boiled over as you stood up. "You two are exactly alike. I swear!"
Kei grabbed Haru's arm, pulling him back down. "Hey, relax. Let's just have a drink, alright? We'll figure it out later."
