Two Plus One Makes…

"What's their deal?" Ida says pointing at the lively customers.

"I don't know, ask them," Corin says rubbing his eyes as he grows tired. He then starts to stumble but he catches himself.

Loc notices Corin getting fatigued

We really should find somewhere to sleep, no doubt the UWO is looking for us after that explosion. And I don't know how much longer Corin has before he passes out again.

As Loc thinks to himself Ida yells at the crowd of people.

"HEY WHY ARE YOU GUYS STARING?!"

The crowd grows tense and looks around at each other and whispers.

Loc is dumbfounded, but a member of the crowd goes up to them hands Ida a sheet of paper, and runs off.

She looks down in curiosity as Corin and Loc look over her shoulders.

Ida smirks trying to hold in her laugh.

Corin is wide awake and rips the paper from her hand.

"Henchman?!"

Loc starts to look as people are lifting cameras and snapping pictures of them

"WE GOT TO GET OUT OF HERE!"

Loc bolts out of the area.

Ida and Corin see the pictures being taken and take off with Loc.

Where are we going?!" Corin asks Loc.

Loc has a determined look on his face

"They know what you two look like now, and now we've been associated as a group by the UWO. I have an idea but you might not like it.

Corin starts to slow down.

The other two slow down as they notice.

Pain rips through his body, he screams in agony as he then coughs up blood, and falls to his hands.

"Your body is not good to move right now, not only did you take on serious damage but you also used too much magic without prior practice. You were basically running on pure adrenaline up till now.

Ida picks Corin up on piggyback and activates her magic so she isn't slowed down by his weight and they begin to move quickly to their destination.

On the other side of Luces are Iss and Nagas who crawl their way out of a manhole.

"Why are you playing around in the sewers, we got a report of them in the service district." someone says to them.

They look up to see Aurora who has a portal ready behind her.

Loc and Ida, who is still carrying the unconscious Corin, have arrived at their destination, a trailer park.

"Why are we here?" Ida asks

Loc walks into the park and Ida follows.

Eventually, they make their way to a black RV and Loc unlocks it.

Ida looks concerned

"An RV that's your idea..."

Loc wags his finger and smiles

"No my dear friend, this here is a Class A motorhome, beauty incarnate, equipped with only the best magic crystal engine for energy consumption, and the inside, oh the inside!"

He opens the door holding it for Ida as she walks in with Corin.

She looks around in awe.

Loc walks in closing the door and laughs smugly.

"I know, I know it's amazing right?"

Loc walks around as he describes the interior, starting with the living area that's entered as you walk in.

"Just look at this amazing setup, an exquisitely beautiful black leather couch that can fit up to 5 people that also unfolds into a bed. Oh, you can just set him down there." Ida then lets Corin down and lays him across the couch "As you can see a lovely glass coffee table that sets the mood for a nice TV dinner. But wait Loc where's the TV you may ask, well right across from the couch. It's a fifty-inch, 4k, HD, LED machine! Over to your left, you can see the kitchen and dining area, where I have a white marble countertop with black overhead cabinets. Oh and-"

"I GET IT!" Ida yells then points to Corin who lies on the couch in need of medical attention.

Loc frowns

"The bathrooms are in the back, that's where I keep an emergency kit," he says sadly as walks over to the driver's seat that's to the right of the living area and then starts the RV.

Ida goes to the back and looks for the kit but sees something that piques her interest.

It's a larger magical crystal like the one back at her home.

"Why do you have a Barrier crystal in here?"

Loc yells from the front

"You can't be serious, all vehicles are equipped with a barrier crystal. A bigger body needs a bigger crystal which causes a stronger magic barrier. You need these to drive from district to district.

"I've never driven before so I wouldn't know.

She says as she returns from the back with the med kit and then sits on the couch next to Corin.

"So what's the idea? Cause me and Corin have a whole noble quest thing to go on."

"I was thinking I'd tag along, I'm already far too roped in with you two," Loc says.

Ida shrugs Corin trying to wake him up.

"Hey... Corin, Loc's gonna tag along with us.

He opens his eyes a little.

"Good," he says then returns to sleep.

Loc starts driving

"I'm gonna drive us to a safer area, then we can talk destinations in the morning."

He turns to Ida but she's already asleep and Corin is mummified in bandages.
