New Year's party finally came but the problem was the dress to wear because I didn't want look stupid in front of everyone.Mom didn't want us to go because it was a waste if time for her, getting a new dress, shoes, make up and all that, she's still trying to pay the rent and doesn't want my aunt get involved in it so that we won't eventually be her puppets,you know how rich people can be, unpredictable.Gillian never wanted to go even after I persuaded him but I didn't want him at all because I don't want anyone getting a hint of what I want to do.I have to find something to wear so I looked through my clothes and found one that could go for it,the dress aunt got me for Christmas.Party starts at 6 p.m,I got ready by 5:30, trust me my look was giving,the dress was strapless and bodycon and my Mom's make up kit she abandoned for a long time was useful at this time,I applied a little, didn't want to look like a clown,mum wasn't around when I got ready else she'll chase me back because let's just say I looked hot and sexy,the dress revealed my alluring figure,kudos to my mom for that,she really did me a wonderful thing in that aspect,my cleavage was inviting and silver heels completed the look.Gillian's jaw dropped when he saw me,he rubbed his eyes to make sure they weren't deceiving him"Jazz you look soooo great, let me take a picture"he rushed to the room to get his phone and gave me three shot and they looked good.My phone rang and it was an unknown number,I picked it and it was Blossom "Jasmine are you coming for the party because I'm in front your house now Incase you're not going I'll make you go"I looked out the window and saw him standing in front of a red Venza,I walked to the front door,opened it, I cut the call and wondered how on earth did he find my house,like seriously how ? anyways he couldn't believe I'll go to the party but I surprised him and outfit too,he couldn't take his eyes off me,he offered to take me to the party of which I accepted because I didn't have a means of going, Blossom was really a gentleman,he lifted my hand and kissed it,it felt warm and he couldn't take his eyes off me when we drove to school and I was a little uncomfortable,he noticed and looked away.We got to school and everywhere was crowded, student looking their best ready to party,music playing loudly from speakers,the hall was well decorated, servers carried trays of champagne in tall glasses around,we stepped out of the car and as usual all eyes on me,they couldn't believe I'd come and look dashing,it was as if I stole the show;Nina felt intimated by my look and the heads that turn at every I made,she couldn't take it anymore so she walked up to "what are you doing here"she asked angrily "I came to have fun like everyone else, happy new year,you look good"I replied unaffected by her reaction, Blossom left to chat with his friends and I was left with this witch in front of me "You know what you're doing and I promise you won't last in this school, you came and everything about me crashed,my spotlight,my crush, you're evil and I hate you"she said almost crying and I didn't know when I started laughing "You're really funny, look I don't time for this,I have something important to do"I said and excused her to go to the toilet when I found two students kissing roughly,beside the door,they didn't notice my presence as I walked in,I adjusted my dress to cover my cleavage because they were almost out,I came out and walked outside, trying not to draw any attention,I took my shoes off and boarded a taxi going to the park, luckily I got there and with the little money I had,I entered the bus going to Port Harcourt,the bus left the park after 30 minutes and we were on the way.I thought of mom and how she would feel about my disappearance, likewise Blossom who would start looking for me any minute from now,I cried silently knowing how everyone would feel about my disappearance but my Father had been on my mind and I'm determined to find him.
